TMNT was my favorite as a child. I watched Captain Planet, but I also thought it was kind of lame. Once MMPR came out, I pretty much thought I was too old for such a generic kids show. I don't know how I feel today though.

I actually am unsure on this one. All three were (and two still are) great series. Power Rangers is something I obsess over so much that I write fanfics about it... TMNT, however, I watched and adored as a kid, and the new installments (mostly the 2007 movie here) are AWESOME! PR I grew up with (they came out '93). TMNT was much the same...

The only one I wouldn't really consider for my favorite is Captain Planet. Partly because I've made too much fun of it. But in all seriousness, it wasn't a bad show. Of course, I find it a little ludicrous (considering this, PR and Bionicle) that Heart was actually a part of it. But at least they pulled it off (however badly).

I've made fun of TMNT and Power Rangers as well. But of the two, I breathe the latter more. And I liked the original Power Rangers FAR better than the "original" Turtles. I guess that's my vote, with TMNT having a [very, VERY close] second place.

I voted for Captain Planet, because, well... Nobody else would, at least not before the other two.

I loved them all when I was a kid. I'm sure everyone did. I even wore a ninja turtle costume once (who here hasn't, really?). But I've probably drawn the ring beams, as well as mimicking the sound effects, summoning Gaia's guardian more than anything else back then.

Who wouldn't want a kickass ring that shooted out and controlled whatever kinda power you had, AND CALL UPON CAPTAIN PLANET TO KICK SOME TOSSER'S ASS.

If it was an all out battle, the three superheroes fighting one another, the Power Rangers would win. No doubt.

Now everybody is happy (except Crunchy, the lone Captain Planet vote)!

I'm not so sure who would win if all three fought at once. The Ninja Turtles are probably at the greatest disadvantage if the other two teams pull out the big guns because they (the Turtles) don't have any actual superpowers; they just have ninja weapons and martial arts ability.

Alternatively, the Planeteers have control over entire elements individually and Ma-Ti could even use his lameass Heart power to mindfuck the Ninja Turtles because they're animals. However, if the Planeteers actually go ahead and summon Captain Planet, he's GREATLY outnumbered against the Rangers and the Turtles. Plus, the Rangers' Zords and the Ninja Turtles living in the sewers would certainly have a negative effect on Captain Planet's powers.

Meanwhile, the Power Rangers in civilian form are probably the weakest group because they have no weaponry or special powers (Rangers in later seasons have special civilian abilities, but the original team does not). However, when morphed, they basically become superhuman and gain access to both their Power Weapons and their Zords, although Zordon's rules prohibit the use of the Zords unless Rita caused the Ninja Turtles or Captain Planet to grow.

If all three teams start out on an equal playing field, the Power Rangers win automatically. If one of the other two teams has a head-start and sets the Rangers on fire, causes a fissure to swallow them up or stabs them with a katana or sai before they can morph, obviously they would lose.

TMNT. All though I got my fair share of entertainment from all 3, the turtles were the victor in time spent. As a kid, I thought the TMNT live action movies were the coolest thing in the world. I even had a pet turtle that I named Raphael.

Captain Planet probably loses because it's the only series of the 3 that I didn't have massive piles of action figures for. Power Rangers got kinda old after a while, because it seemed recycled to me, but I still had tons of fun smashing things with my plastic toy megazord.

The only 90's superhero team I liked better than TMNT was probably the Street Sharks. I also have piles of action figures for them and tons of episodes on VHS. Why isn't that in the poll? >:O

Anyways, Power Rangers beats all solely for the reason that it isn't animated. Violence is better when it is not cartoon, and it is better when it is coming from the furious fists of of a Zord!!!

Super Mario Bros for the win! Their games were out by the 90's, and they even have Super in the title. Just search for Super Mario Bros. Z on newgrounds if you aren't satisfied that they are the best heroes EVER.
