People complaining about spam in a forum that seems to be made specifically for the purpose of spam? WUT? Why must people be so serious about everything? Sure, maybe you don't find it funny, but you should expect these things in a forum of this nature. Is everyone really THAT surprised that mudkip was the first thing to be brought up in a spam section of a Pokemon forum? I mean sure, it seems next to impossible amirite? But it's more likely then you think! And with rules like "U CNT SPM DIS IN AR SPMZ TRHEDZ CUZ PPL DNT THNK IT FUNNEH", the anger dome is become a hypocrisy in itself.

Next thing you know, this will literally be just another version of general chat, once everything else gets banned from here. Face palm and the 50 pic post are next, I'm sure.

To be honest, I think this subforum is garbage. I thought it would be funny at first, because of the Futurama reference, but it generally serves no purpose. I don't think any forum here should be a vehicle for random thought or spam, and I'm both surprised and disappointed that it hasn't been deleted yet. If I had my way (and if you ask me, it's about time I did), no one would be looking at this post right now.

i mean, some sites have pretty decent spam-esque subforums. but the quality of said subforums generally depends on the quality of the memberbase. here, for obvious reasons, it wouldn't work.

In my grand, convoluted plan, this forum did serve a purpose. I was hoping to simultaneously gauge the viability of a subforum that would serve a purpose somewhere between a Firebot-type forum and a more fun and random GD, as well as determine how many people would be too whiny/stupid to be allowed to post in such a forum (see Moron List)

Unfortunately, my belief that our forum is filled with morons and humorless bores has only been strengthened. I've been trying to come up with some alternate purpose for this subforum, but I've got nothing. Right now, all I've come up with is renaming the forum "Why We Can't Have Nice Things" and moving it to the Archives.

I actually like the idea of having subforums when/if necessary (an example: a Manga Discussion subforum under General Pokemon Discussion or something). Unless, of course, it requires more bandwith or gives too much trouble to be worked on or whatever.

Ditto, at first I liked this subforum, then for obvious reasons, I started to not like it. :
