the new diamond and pearl is said to have this thing where you can command your pokemon like this 'charmander dodge' 'now use flamethrower' or something like that but its only a theory it is supposed to be said on the websites cos i ave friends that like pokemon and they told me this basically i dont think they will do that cos it is quite hard putting a voice control in the ds so it is a theory well thats all i got to say for the games i might have some more news soon |

And it will be released on DS! That is basically all the news for now, the news that everyone knows. Though I also hear that there will be Online Play... only rumors though. |

Sure, it can be hard to keep buying new systems if you don't always have the money, but why release these new games on the GBA, a now outdated system that doesn't have near the capability of the DS. well thats true unless you have alot of money in your ban account then its no probem but just buying it with a crowd when it comes out it also comes with metroid prime or something as a demo |

Hmm, I dunno...an Option to Defend or Dodge Attacks (like in Super Robot Wars) might be an interesting way to liven up the Battles... I mean, how many people do you think were opposed to the "Characteristics" Idea? |

If it's for the DS, I think I'll send Nintendo an I.O.U with a note on the back saying "Sorry, I have college tuition to worry about" and then scurry my blonde self over to google and get a nice lil DS emulator and wait for the ROMs to come out a week after the games are released. Screw Microsoft and Screw Nintendo, they've sucked away enough of my money. |

well it is true the games are only gonna be available on ds only but its impossible to play ds games on gameboy advance baecause the cartridges are half the size of gameboy advanced cartridge so if you re not going to get the ds that means your life of pokemon woud be over |

I'm not sure if DS & GBA Games will be compatible: I mean, they are totally different Consoles, but they could have some kind of "Link-Up" Feature like Nintendo's TV Consoles & Handhelds do. Trading between Generation #4 & Generation #3 could only be problematic if they introduced some new things, like how Ruby/Sapphire had to re-code the Special Stat split. Oh, and Generation #4 is confirmed for DS. Game FREAK themselves have confirmed it a couple of times. |

The emulation is already underway. One screen you use the keys for and the other you use the mouse. Not hard at all. |

I think that it sucks we have to buy it for ds.............  imean why can,they make it for sp. I agree that regular game boy advances suck 
but sp's don't so suck that ***** all of my pokemon bring wrath on the ds!!!!

is there going to be yet another set of 100/150 pokemon, or is it going to be a remake of the GSC versions? they've remade RBY, so i think D/P might be the new GSC version, besides, on colosseum, you can trade some GSC pokemon to RS, and then to FR/LG, so i'm guessing they'll add the rest of the GSC pokemon in... on the other hand, it wouldn't make sense to make the new GSC version on the DS, so i think that in due time, they will remake GSC on the GBA/SP rather than on the DS... i think sN0wBaLL, you should make a similar topic, but just for news on the DS... |

This "Rukario" chap looks more than a bit like Mewtwo to me. I heard that the D/P release date in Japan was 05/05/2005. I can't confirm it but that's the only date I've seen so far. EDIT: Oh my grammar is not too good. That should have been "I heard that the D/P release date in Japan will be 05/05/2005. |
