red/blue graphics
yellow graphics
green graphics

i think yellow is the best but i like green for a laugh to see how crapy pokemon were back 12 years ago nearly

If I recall correctly, Yellow had very cartoonish sprites... although the scenery wasn't all too different from B/R.

I voted for Blue only b/c its the version I own out the selection. Go Blue Version!

Red and Blue have the same exact graphics. Anyway, I like the Yellow ones best, as the Green ones are horrendously ugly and the RB ones are lol.

When I borrowed my buddy's Red version for a few days in order to get Mew, the most hilarious thing I saw was the Pidgey graphic.

I mean, I was used to playing the Johto generation games, where I saw this:

But then I encountered a wild Pidgey on Red, and literally laughed myself to tears when I saw...well, see for yourself:

I had been enjoying a bowl of instant oatmeal while I played the game for a little while before school, and when I saw what Gamefreak had originally tried to pass off as a Pidgey, I almost choked to death on my breakfast due to a bout of hysterical laughter that lasted for a good five minutes.

Ahh, Gameboy, you entertain me in so many ways...

This being said, it shouldn't come as much of a suprise that my favorite graphics are the ones on Green version. They never fail to at least make me smile.

My first ever pokemon game was pokemon gold but i knew alot about it because i played my friends silver and we traded when i got gold than i got pokemon blue and than got the gba and got saphire and lf green

Yellow. The sprites make the Pokemon look so cuddly, like plush toys! Even things I didn't like, like Golem and Machamp sudddenly became adorable and soft. I'm really fond of its graphics.

But of course, you can't beat Green for hilarity.

Yellow is the best, but the others have some problems. like, have you seen {parasect} in R/B and {mew} from green? they look like they have giant zits! :lol:

They all hurt my eyes. But, because yellow was the latest, it was the most bare-able.

The sprites them selves, don't suck. Their coloration does (like a 6 year-old drawing), but overstepping the lines.
