in pokemon stadium 1 i decided to play it again with a knew file from the start last week cause i was bored and i forgot how do i get me and mewto if u said beat the gym tower i did |

You have to beat all the stadium cups also. At that time, Mewtwo will challenge you. If you beat him, you'll be able to access Round 2. |

And in round 2, you can use mew as a rental in the prime cup only. Also, unlocking round 2 will also unlock a new title screen picture, then when you beat round 2, you've finished the whole game, and you will see the final title screen picture. You can also use mewtwo as a prime cup rental. |
