I was thinking about entering my in the smart contests, once I maxed out her smartness (or however you'd phrase that) and got her the scarf... I think for smart it's green. Anyway, these are her battle moves, but I was wondering how well they'd work in a contest too. Psychic Shadow Ball Calm Mind Reflect I know I should probably drop SB for T-Bolt since SB is physical, but I've already got a jolteon on my team as well and I needed something to effectively take out ghost and psychic types and she does well enough with it in battle. But enough about that, how would that do in a contest and I'm open for suggestions. [EDIT]: I'm a little lost as to how to obtain the scarf. I read a previous post on the first page of this thread that said it was the man in the fan building...? Once I maxed out one trait. My Gardevoir is filled completely on smart and he still tells me it needs more pokeblocks? It can't eat anymore or am I talking to the wrong guy?

Swamper King your teams look very good i sugest everyone look at them Krisp your should work well you could also try a rain dance/surf/hail/blizzard/surf or hail if not in first hfxjus i think you meant to say smart contest but, interesting tactic to startle other pokemon until you get into first then use faint attack try using 1 growth 2 absorb/solorbeam 3 growth 4 absorb/solorbeam 5 destiny bond Hirohashi for your i would go with 1calm mind 2confusion 3calm mind 4confusion 5destiny bond

lol.. im using a lousy technique for my hitmonchan.. Ice punch Fire Punch Thunder Punch whatever i use theres a combo.. and also, it all gives like 4 hearts or somethin so 6 for every turn.. problem is if i get jammed i dont have anything to defend me from it. >.<

This is more statement than rating. (I don't know where else to put this, so...) These are examples of Pokemon movesets that have won Master Rank contests AND got their portraits painted. (Yes of course Pokeblocks were involved.) Beauty: Castform Weather Ball Hail Powder Snow Sunny Day EDIT: Whoops, I forgot Hail + Powder Snow, Hail + Weather Ball, and Sunny Day + Weather Ball are all 8-point combos. Still, it rocks. Tough: Registeel Metal Claw Superpower Ancientpower Curse (yes, the starting moveset. It works!) Cool: Plusle Spark Thunder Fake Tears T-Bolt (I think...) Smart: Sableye (no portrait for this guy, but he pwns all Smart contests with only 3 Pokeblocks. No kidding - this is my brother's, currently in my possession.) Psychic Faint Attack Shadow Ball Night Shade As of then I've erased the game data (oh, what an idiot! Ah well, they can always be recreated) but trust me, these work. Even though there are no combos. (Don't call me a liar before you actually test these.) I can say nothing about Sinnoh contests, but this isn't the Sinnoh forum is it. - DNA

I won Master Cool and Tough Contests and paintings with: + Red Scarf=7 stars (I don't think it has Coolness maxed) Peck Double Team Aerial Ace Quick attack Double Team+Quick Attack+Aerial Ace is a great combo + Yellow scarf=6 stars (It doesn't has Toughness maxed) Tackle Harden Iron Defense Take Down Harden makes combo with both Tackle and Take Down, so you can use the best combo for the situation. If you feel that you won't get startled after using Harden, use Take Down for 13 hearts, but if you feel that you will get startled, use Tackle for 9 hearts.

If it's nature determines that it won't like blue pokeblocks, you're screwed if you try to evolve it. If you have to, go to the berry master, save, and talk to him/reset the game until he gives two of said Hondews.

Unown @Green scarf -Hidden power - - - Easy. just use Hidden power and with slight luck you win. Zapdos @Red scarf -Drill peck -Thunderbolt -Shock wave -Thunder wave If you're first, Shock wave. Otherwise DP + T-Bolt. Anorith @Pink scarf -Mud sport -Water gun -Rock slide -Protect MS + W-gun is a combo. Las turn use Protect/MS. Nosepass @Yellow scarf -Harden -Tackle -Protect -Block Harden + Tackle is a combo. Last turn use Protect. Azumarill @Blue scarf -Dive -Surf -Waterfall -Rock smash Dive + Surf is a combo. Actually this is my HM-bot but i just raise his beayty. All are from boxes. I had to choise from 370 and these are with same moves that they have it on capture moment. All also have paintings on art gallery.

i recently won all masters and got all painting all maxed with the correct scarfs i also went fishing for some luvdisk to get heart scales for re-teachong forgotten moves beauty no real skill here pretyy much luck used surf/hydro pump/ice beam would have been better to teach it rain dance or hail cute - very easy for me winning combo mud sport or water sport water gun cool a-ace if in 1st or double team(starts combo for quick att) or quick att(to put back in 1st) if put in 1st from quick att use a-ace or double team or quickatt tough - easy master win no1 realy used jams so great for double edge/take down harden tackle or take down/double edge(best to use those 2 when in a low or last spot harden for last appeal(low points but saves from jam once) ot tackle smart - came in 2nd 4 times before getting the ribbon+painting calm mind(if higher spot) or pyschic/confusion(better if lower spot+jams, recommend pyschic for combo starter as it makes confusion give more hearts later....great double jamming) psychic/confusion or future sight(if in higher gives good hearts no jams) calm mind for last appeal(low points but saves from jam once) or confusion or future sight
