What pokemon do you think are capable of withstanding many enemies or should I say, a pokemon with good stats, good movepool, good over-all I know there are only a few of them. One I know is Kingdra Good stats Good Movepool Good Type combi ! Can stand alone ! You know those pokemon that are too hard to beat... |

Kingdra isn't good, its stats are horrible. Metagross Snorlax Umbreon Every Uber Wobbuffet Suicune every reversaler (pokemon that uses reversal/flail and a salac berry) Tyranitar Salamence The list goes on and on. It really doesn't matter what pokemon you have, it matters how you use it. Except for kingdra, it sucks. |

One strong standalone which I use is my precious Amazora. @ Lefties Naive | Own Tempo Surf Psychic Ice Beam Shadow Ball Covers a lot of types, and in case of no super-effectives just Surf thier @$$es off. Works great for everything, including Battle Palace. The only weakness of this is a Blissey with a good Grass / Electric / Dark attack. But she can thrash almost anything else that stands in her way. Go Amzy! |

You'll want stuff like: Latios (Good movepool? Then here you go.) Gardevoir Suicune (Judging by your name, I think you'll want him) Metagross Salamence Tyranitar Dragonite Raikou (Not necesserily, but is very powerful imo.) Latias Regice (Slow, but decent movepool) Heracross Gengar (Low defences, but is a great SP. sweeper) Milotic (Restrictive movepool, but survives almost any hit) Lapras Blissey etc, etc, etc. Try looking at the Max Stats list to see which pokemon have the stats of your liking, and check the Psydex to view their movepools. Sneaky_Sneasel wrote: Lati@s are uber, Gardy is OHKO-able, Metagross is for cowards, Mence, D-Nite and TTar are OHKO-able, Raikou and Gengar are olol, and Blissey is for cowards. Some of us use Pokemon because we like them (I use lati@s because they are 2 of my faves), so you can't just jump to conclusion that M-gross is for cowards, it actually is perfectly OHKO-able(STABbed Flamethrower, I repeat, STABbed Flamethrower). And so what if Pokemon are OHKO-able? They can still stand alone, and Salam is my fave P-sweeper, other than herax. Your comments; They offend people, including me. |

Here's my two pence/cents/pesetas: doesn't. Die. To anything. Ever. No, not even that. I've seen one survive a Slaking's Choice Banded Shadow Ball If the shadowy blob of death isn't for you, go with or easiest Pokes to use ever IMHO. |

Snorlax and Dragonite are my favorites. They can take alot of hits, and they have alot of power. (too lazy to post movesets.) LethalVirus wrote: {umbreon} @Leftovers

<s>Magikarp @ Macho Brace Splash - - -</s> Yeah! This guy rocks!! Or, maybe not. I'd have to say any kind of sweeper, like these:
And the list keeps on going on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on. |

Hmm... maybe the Regis? The list is huge. Sneaky Sneasel wrote: Metagross is for cowards I resent that comment, and I'm sure RUBEN would too if he read it. Just because Metagross is a good pokemon doesn't mean it is for cowards because it kills. It has it's weaknesses (Swampert, Typhlosion, Dugtrio, ect.). Here's my list: Regis Any 00ber Aggron Steelix Metagross Salamence Dragonite Tyranitar Any Endureversal PKMN Any Endure-Flail PKMN Sableye Shedinja Umbreon Starmie Sableye's there because of no weaknesses and Sheddy's there because of Wonder Guard. Endureversal/Flail for obvious reasons, Metagross/Salamence/T-tar/Dragonite because of their pseudo-uber stats, Aggron and Steelix because of their high defences, the legends are explanatory and Umbreon/Starmie because they can either survive hits or deal them damage. |

There are two kinds of Pokemon that can last long. The first are strong sweepers that can take down the foe before the foe can do much damage in return. Salamence, Tyranitar and some other powerful Sweepers would fall in this category. The other, which really last long, taking hits and all, would be the Sponges and Tanks. Blissey has got to be one of the best in this category, with its phenomenal HP and Special Defense. Other possible Pokemon you can try are the Regis, especially Regice, Snorlax, Umbreon, and Shuckle (but only for in-game purposes; Its HP is way too low). |

sneaky_seasel say this horrible thing: Metagross is for cowards I hate you sneaky sneasel, how you dare to say that metagross is for cowards? only because of that Metagross(with a good moveset) can kick the butt of sneasel in no time thats no reson of say that metagross is for cowards. Snorlax is very hard to taken down: @leftovers, mild(-speed more defense)nature Amnesia Curse Rest Shadow ball |

What? You are all wrong! I say is the best! Mine has yet to be defeated! - Charm - Water Sport - Sleep Talk - Water Gun Ohhh... Is this thing EVIL or what? Seriously though, for me, if I could only battle with one poke it would be a CB Aerodactyl. Speed + Sweep. Or a CalmCune. Or CurseLax. Or Groudon. |

i think is the strongest pokemon ever, much stronger than those u listed, he is just crazy! STAB + Automatic Rain dance Kyogre @ Leftovers Modest, 252 SA, 252 Spd, 6 HP Surf (hydro pump, water spout) Ice Beam Thunder Calm Mind This guy is also called "Kyuber" Ice beam for grass and dragon type, Thunder for water type, calm mind for SA and SD defense for grass and electric atks. Maybe only can beat him. I wonder if can beat him, what do u guys think? I also wonder who can beat him if he has maximized his SA and SD by CM Recently edited: i hv just found out that can OHKO with Hyper Beam, so i think that Wobbuffet may be the strongest one |

My best stand-alone Pokemon is my Quagsire. It absorbs Surf, mucks up Fire and Electric types and only gets worried by it's 4x Grass Weakness. Give it: Surf Ice Beam Earthquake Haze And it can take down pretty much anything: Fire, Ground, Rock, Dragon, Flying, Grass, Steel, Electric and Poison! Haze is there to get rid of annoying Double Team/Calm Mind moves. It is very rare for my Emerald Quagsire to faint against one Pokemon. |

My Aggron and Skarmory usualy last long time. Dusclops, I've heard, Is pretty good Tank also. But could be annoying to train as a Duskull. |

jedibob5 wrote: lol, nice spelling of Strong. BTW, with it's Miracle Guard, Shedinja is a strong choice. Shedinja is 50/50 victory. Either it'll die as soon as it comes out (or the turn after) or it will demolish the opposing team. |

Shedinja: Very bad IMO, even with it's powerful ability, it'll faint very soon anyway. Hmm... Actually Shuckle isn't that bad; with Toxic, Protect, and Rest, etc. It's a force to be reckoned with. |

Shuckle has a massive defence in a battle it can last very long even if its up against its weakness and can make a very good annoyer it could use toxic then just use rest when it's hp is low and make it hold chesto berry. |

What about Smeargle? @ Lefties -Spore -Lock-On -Sheer Cold -Guillotine A note for Shuckle. you'll have to EV train his hp or else you won't have enough to survive, but still a very solid choice. |

I like to use him because i use something like confuse ray, flash, double team or some thing like that a good move set -shadow ball -double team -confuse ray -toxic (or maybe some kind of stat effect thing like paralyze) shuckle is good too, yay toxic tanks |
