How do I evolve my chansey into a blissey?, it's something to do with happiness, I know that, but what is happiness?

well first, you need the national dex as blissey came originally from GSC, which you get from oak after defeating the elite four, then you need to keep chansey in front of other pokemon in your party and don't let him/her faint..... (this will increase it's happiness)

or you could do what I did. Equip Chansey with the exp. share and take a run through the elite four several times. Eventally after lvling enough times he will be happy enough and evolve. But this will take several run throughs of the elite four.

Hey, my favourite Pokemon, Blissey! :D

Anyway, there are several ways to increase your Pokemon's happiness. Here are some basic ones:
1) Keep it in your party, and never leave it in the PC.
2) Use it in battles often
3) Level it up.
5) Use items like rare candy, potions, and the vitamins on it.
5) DO NOT let your Pokemon suffer any poisoning, paralysis or any other status.

Good luck!

all u do is basically walk around it give it attention and give it ppup and zincs and boost it...and it will evolve.

I don't really like any pokemon evolving due to happiness because it just takes forever to do so.

Take my eevee, for instance.
In order for it to evolve into Umbreon and learn "Faint Attack", it needs to evolve before Lv.36.

But it always evolves at Lv.51 or higher...And then I become really frustrated.

And, what's the deal with Frustration? I can always make my pokemon
like me more, but never dislike me - even when I don't use it, never use
any items on it, let it faint often or don't cure it from a status problem, it
still likes me!!!

What's the deal with that?

Just use Return if you hate Frustration. It's just there as something opposite to Return, no one said you had to use it.

You know you could use 51 Vitamins (10 of each type, PP Up doesn't count) on it when it's born and make it grow 1 level and it'll evolve.

Gee, but imagine the cost of 51 Vitamins. I'll rather take it slow and use both items and training to evolve the Pokemon. My eevee evolved at around level 30 or so in this way.

Yeah, just give it 51 vitamins as stated earlier. That's how I got my Crobat, Umbreon, Espeon, and Blissey.

It is better if you get a level 5 Chansey from an egg and use Exp Share to make it stronger. Since leveling up is better than using drugs, though is a little tougher.

About Frustration, I always noticed whenever I catch a Absol its happiness is low... maybe it's just my game?

<font color=ACEACE>Well whenever you catch a Pokemon, store it in the PC, trade it, or give it to a Day Care Centre, it's happiness goes to it's default state, which is pretty low making Frustration do a lot more than Return. So whatever Pokemon you catch it will be the same happiness level (unless you use a particular type of Pokeball).
