Everyone says what they're favorite starter is. Now lets see what everyone's least favorite starter is.

Ugh, Chikorita is just.... ugh. It was my first starter in Gold, because I was keeping to tradition of always choosing a grass type but man did I make a mistake. It doesn't really look cool, and isn't all that effective against... anything.

A close second would have to be Charmander. I just never had the patience to train it. Between getting a Butterfree that knows Confusion and getting a Bellsprout to take down Misty, I never really had a chance to get it to a good level to hold it's own against other trainers, so I lost patience and when to good ol' Bulbasaur which is the most awesome starter ever.

I say squirtle. I still remember the good ole RBY days when I got a charmander, I loved him except for Rivals Squirtle, I mean, I kicked squirts ass, no problem, he was just such a bitch. (sorry for the swearing but the only poke I hate more than him is Ho-oh, and most of you know how much I hate ho-oh.

!The only good thing is that he gets Leaf Blade and high Speed. For him to make a decent sweeper he'll need TMs like Dragon Claw, or breeding,eg Crunch! EEEEEEW! What a time-waster!

Well, personally, I don't like treeko because of its looks. Ewww... And it becomes boring to use as you use it through out the game.

Well, I'm glad everyone is answering this post. THANKS!!!! Well, anyway. I had to say Chikorita is my least favorite. Some people may think that looks cute, but guess what. I tried Chikorita and the first gym I went to kicked my ***!!! I mean, come on. I really hate all the grass pokemon, because they aren't strong. The only exception is because he never turns to a poison pokemon. The move Leaf Blade killed Lunatone and Solrock (in theMossdeep Gym Twins) in like one hit. They were at 42 or something and i was only at 36. My God!!!

I've added Mudkip to the options

Anyway, I voted for Totodile. I don't really dislike it, but it's just that there are so many better Water types out there that it doesn't score high on my list of Fav Pokes.

My least favorite, it's tough but.... It's just too weird for me. It's just a weird version of , except when it evolves, all it gets is a 4x weakness to Grass. So .

2. Cyndiquil
3. Treeko
4. Bulbasaur
5. Torchic
6. Squirtle
7. Chikorita
8. Totodile
9. Mudkip

Actually, I don't mind that 4x weakness to Grass, because this weakness can be covered by letting it learn Ice Beam. More importantly, being part Ground makes it invulnerable to Electric attacks. So Mudkip is pretty good IMO, unless you prefer it's little Ground/Water buddy, Whiscash

Ew.. Poor, poor treecko what has nintendo done to you? Treecko is certainly not the best looking starter there is but his evolutions are pretty cool especially grovyle. I don't completely hate treecko, it's just that his face is awful
