The very first time I played, I picked  and couldn't beat the first gym leader, it ended up evolving into  before my friend told me to try out a Cyndaquil...so ze Fire Mole's been my choice for ages ^_^

Well, I <s>bought</s> aquired from my friend my Gold version, so he had all the starters. But, he chose Cyndaquil last-drat. So, 'Quil is the starter on my file. -Gardevoir~ |

Cyndaquil; I choose her not because of the difficulty, but because I'm a Fire-type picker, and even more when I heard Jasmine is a Steel-type Gym Leader. |

I got all three (without gameshark or another game) I used and ingame cheat. I think then I wouldnt have to choose. |

i chose&love  because she looks cute and she is really strong when it evolves to a  and  looks cute while other starters look ugly and main advantage of choosing chikorita is u can counter ur rival's typhlosion with different water types that u can catch throughout the game.so i chose her rocks.

Fire type don't have much advantage in the old RBY version, however, in GSC, a new Steel type is introduced, which makes Fire-type the most advantageous among the 3 starters type Above is only my opinion...

I normally pick Chikorita for the challenge. I think the other two make the game too easy. |

I alway pick up Cyndaquil to finish the game faster, I don't really like challenges on pokemon unless I'm vsing a friend.
