I don't know if there is already a conversation like this because I'm to lazy to check, but I'm at the Safari Zone and I want to know some easy ways to catch Chansey and not by cheating. |

There already was, but I can sum it up in just a few sentences. Do not walk around looking for Chansey, stay in one square and turn in a circle by gently tapping the arrow buttons. That way, you don't run out of steps before you run out of balls. Be Persistent. Look in the Psydex for which sections of the Safari Zone Chansey is in, and stay in there until you find a Chansey. It will take a long time, so don't give up. When you do find a Chansey, dispense with all pleasantries, and throw the ball. DO NOT DO ANYTHING BUT THROW THE BALL. Eventually, one of the balls will catch a Chansey. After that, catch yourself a Ditto too (not in Safari Zone, where it's available), and breed the two on Four Island to get more Chanseys if you want more; that way's a lot easier than going back to the Safari Zone and trying to catch them. |
