Are you using the right codes? Pokemon Sapphire and Pokemon Blue have very different codes.

Or maybe it's because it's not compatible with GBA/GB games?

You can only get one or the other Action Replays.... (I think)

A gameboy advance Action Replay is not compatable with gameboy games. There is really no reason to cheat on blue version anyway, you can do that in the game.

Pokemonfanatic i had/have the same problem with my AR but with Pokemon Ruby, But if you have cheats for blue on your AR and it's not registering you have to:

1) turn on your gameboy (with the AR and blue in it ofcourse)
2) when it says do you what to register details for the game now so no
3) Go down the list to pokemon blue
4) tick the codes you want
5) Press start and the game will start with the cheats enabled

This works for AR Max may vary with different ones

ANd if it still doesn't work look and see if the Master Code is correct

This isn't true, The only codes that mess up your games are when you hack in pokemon, and i know how to avoid that aswell
