I liked the Emerald thread in the Hoenn forum, and many of the topics in this forum are simply questions needing to be answered, so I thought I'd set it up. Question #1: Does a Cubone show up as a Ghost at the Pokemon Tower at Lavender Town before you have the SilphScope? |

No, I believe the only Ghost you'll encounter it the Marowak. |

iirc, in RBY, you get to the top and all the ghost does is "Get out... get out..." and then you flee the battle. It isn't revealed. I guess it's the same for LGFR |

Thanks, guys, but what I really meant was on the lower levels. You can find Cubone there, but I was wondering if they are disguised like the Gastly as Ghosts who tell you to go away. I walked around for a while and didn't see any Cubone, only Ghosts. Then I got the SilphScope and found two of them. Professional opinion? Is it all pokemon in the tower that are disguised as Ghosts, or only the Gastly/Haunter? |

I think Cubone appears as ghosts too. I heard a ghost with Cubone's cry, that's why I think Cubones are ghosts. |

I've never heard the cries for the Ghosts; are you sure the Ghost sounded like a Cubone once? |

What kind of rocks? Yes, there is a lot of hidden items lying around; in rocks, in walls, on the ground, etc. Their locations are not random; you can find the same items in the same places on every game you play. |

You don't get items from smashing the rocks, but from checking the place where the rock is. That means facing the spot and pressing "A". |

The next question(s) is about shinies and Ditto. (Incedentaly, what do you call two Ditto? Dittos? Ditti? ) If you have a shiny opponent, and your Ditto uses Transform, will it show as a faded shiny version of that pokemon too? If you have a shiny Ditto, when you use Transform, will you be a faded shiny *insert random pokemon*? |

Well, it copies the form, so I would say yeah. Lemme check with my Gorebyss and Ditto, Gorebyss shiny. 8) Will edit when done. -Gardevoir~ EDIT: Im suprised. It didnt. Ditto copied Gory and turned into a normal one. Weird. |

I would suspect that Ditto retains it's own shininess regardless of what it's copying. So, normal Ditto copies a shiny to a normal; a shiny Ditto copies a normal to a shiny. |

^What he basically said. I think shiny Ditto (just Ditto, not Dittos, Ditti, like fish, fish plural is fish) retain thier shininess but when copying a shiny turn into the normal one instead. -Gardevoir~ |

I agree with Gardevoir. I mean, when a Ditto transforms, it copies its opponent exactly, so if its opponent is normal, it'll be normal. If its shiny, then the ditto will be shiny. |
