Hello everyone (Iknow that sounds lame, but I can't think of anything else to say!),
I can't wait for FireRed and LeafGreen to finally be released. I ahven't preordered it but I will get it on September 7th.
Also use this topic to voice your opinions on FireRed and LeafGreen.

I'm just going to buy it at Target when it comes out...but I heard that if you pre-order it you get something special. What is it? If I like it I just may change my mind. X)

You get like a Trainer's Manual thing. Just a guide with tips to help you through out the game.

I haven't pre-order LG and I'm just hoping to get it for my birthday. So I won't see it until October. Besides if I had the money to buy it right now I would most likely strike a deal with my brother to get The Sims 2 (Sept. 17). ^_^ I've been waiting for sooo long to get that game!

I preordered mine from Circuit City for $5. and the "Trainer's Guide" is just basic things that anyone who has played a Pokemon game already knows. It comes with a nifty map though

That doesn't seem too thrilling. I can use an online guide for that anytime...and for free too.

I choose option "F", which is get it when you get around to it. I've got some monetary demands that are a little more pressing. But I am looking forward to it, and I WILL get it.

By the way, my buddy Zac reserved Leaf Green and the book's not that hot.

I'm getting it sometime when it comes out, I really have no need for the Pocket Trainer's Guide.

I actually tried the Japanese version, someone let me borrow theirs and start a new game w/o saving...and I caught a Shining Pidgey....>_<

Heheh , I have that guide too Achilles.
It wasn't really bad though , with the locations mapped out and all.

Anyway , to stay ontopic , I'll buy it ... perhaps when it comes out but that kinda depends on if I have the money for it.
I will buy it some day though.
But it's still some time before it gets released here anyway , so I've got time to save up some money =p

I'll be getting it, though after all the odd looks I got buying R/S, I spent a few minutes of my time typing up a "print out" from some big survey company willing to pay me 150% of the cost of the games to play them from my "unique perspective" lol. Should be interesting when I tell them I'm getting paid to play the games..

As far as the Pokecenter thing goes, we don't all live in New York. If I did, I'd go there and get them. Better than putting up with the people at Target....

And even if we DO live in the US, it's a big country. We can't all get to New York.

I'm not even interested in it, I already have Red and Blue, and I'm still playing my GSC games.

Well, you could always go to their website...instead of driving all the way to get a Pokemon Box, Pack of Pokemon cards, or what have you...

Why would you buy Pokemon Cards off of a website? I have about 3 Wal-marts and 36 hobby shops where I live to get cards. Box is another story however...

same here
except only one wall mart, and I go to gamestop, for games, and Cyborg-One (our local comics/RPG/Cards shop), for cards
