and, over time, I have beaten the elite 4 100 times, 105 now, and it didn't happen.

Remember back when the games first came out and there were like 200, 000 diffrent tales of mews living next to the SS Anne, Pokegods and pika-greens (blues, oranges...)? Well, I want to here them. What was the strangest "pokemyth" you heard about the original versions and did you ever try to test it? I heard the best one ever - that if you battled the Gym Leader of Viridian City three times in a row before you delivered Oak's Parcel then your Pokemon would instantly evolve into a Mew No, i wasn't foolish enough to try it - i know that Viridian Gym is closed until like the final stretch of the game! |

I heard a really messed up one. You had to have exactly 10 pokeballs, and an old rod. Then, you had to go to any shoreline and walk 5 steps up and 5 steps down. After that, you use the old rod and you would catch a mew. Didn't work...just to let you know.

I know this story was discussed on a different thread but I just want to tell the version of the yoshi cheat that I heard. You had to catch a dratini in red. Then trade it to blue and bring it to lv100 there. Then trade it back to red and use a fire stone on it. It will say "not able" but use it anyway, then it will evolve into yoshi. Its dex number is 999. I think I saw it on the internet somewhere years ago. Its pretty funny and no I haven't tried it. |

I now a myth in wich you have to train a dragonair to lv 33, then teach im dig (by gameshark) and then give im a thunderstone and it will envolve to a mew. |

i heard that if you get mew the real way in red blue and yellow and trade it over at lv 41 it will turn into a horsea lv 41 and than raise it up one lv and missingo appears release missingo and your game is deleted .... ??? wtf |

In small towns where pokemon is big, you hear a lot of random stuff, especially in little kids. "Get Mew to lvl 100 then use a Rare Candy and it becomes Mewtwo! Use another Rare Candy and it becomes Mewthree! (and so on)" "The best Mew is Mewsix, obviously. Just beat the Elite 4 six times with a Mewtwo and it'll evolve into Mewsix." |

Facing the Elite 4 over 40 times and you have a chance to find mew in a cave and you get their by surfing. Another one was surfing up and down near the side of the Island of where Blair's gym is at and you could get 100 rare candies. |

Ah, the old unlimited items glitch. I used to always use that on vitamins, rare candies, master balls, and TM's. I think it makes the 4th or 6th item in your bag unlimited? |

I heard that if you go fishing off of that little square thats in the water in that place before victory road where the ppl ask you for the badges, you would fish up wartortles, blastoise, and mews....never tied it |

this is true my freind showed me on the japanese vesion of pokemon green if you had a pokemon that knew cut before you get the hm (gameshark or trade) you get the third badge BEFORE going on the s.s.anne and in one room there will be apacth of grass surrounded by cuttable trees (it wont be there after fighting rival on the ship) if you cut on tree and go in the grass a lvl9 mew will show up |

Magikoopa, in R and B, you can see abnormally high leveled pokemon near cinabar. Which ones depended on your name. Don't belive me? I'm dead serious.Check out trsrockin.com for proof. |
