Manectric or Magneton

Post subject:  Manectric or Magneton
I'm having trouble deciding an electric pokemon for my Emerald version. This is before the Elite Four, so I cannot trade with FR/LG. I'm having trouble deciding between Manectric and Magneton. Could you suggest one?

Pros for Magneton
-Better Sp. Atk. than Manectric
-Better Def. than Manectric (stays longer)
-Resistance to lots because of steel type

Cons for Magneton
-Not very good ability
-Limited movepool
-4x weakness to ground

Pros for Manectric
-Good Speed
-Crunch(don't have a dark pokemon)

Cons for Manectric
-Lower Def., Sp. Def., and Sp. Atk. than Magneton

Please help me decide. :D

Magneton got me through Glacia without a scratch so I suggest useing Magneton. :)

I also used my {magneton} and some other pokemon to defeat the Elite Four, so I also suggest you use your {magneton}.

Okay, I think I will use him.
I don't want the Rain Dance/HP water moveset, so would this be an okay moveset for him? This is for in-game.

-Reflect

I would also suggest Magenton. Another con for him though would be a dismal HP stat, bu his solid Def. balances it out. So, yes, {magneton}.

Wait would it be wise to consider this
{magneton} has two types steel and electric
{manectric} has one type and a good move pool letting you give it more status inflicting moves
ex. when Glacia's wailerien lands a surf on you and you have magneton it is gunna do more damage to you if you have magneton.

So mabey that is something to consider.

Sorry if that was a noob coment just trying to make my point
