I think there's already been a few on this website. I would try to go back on topic, but I think we're starting to settle for Sylveon being a Flying type. Either that or we're done with arguing

Will it seriously matter what type it is? Does a game as that much pull on your life and feelings that you have to lower yourselves down to the level of name-calling and meanless rebuttals? They have two threads about Sylveon on PB, and both quickly degraded into flame wars imo. And it's like a pot was kicked, because the main announcement thread gained one new page every 10 minutes! Everyone is hoping, and feelings are getting hurt because of assumptions. In fact, yesterday I joked and Sylveon will be troll-typed, because it is succeeding in trolling the demo market for Pokemon. |

If you think this is bad, wait until this summer. The first trailer of Super Smash Bros 4 will be released and like a flood we'll have so many debates and theories about any aspect of the game imaginable lol but yeah I think we're taking this a bit too far as to what type Sylveon will be, but in all fairness there wouldn't be this much anxiety over the subject if it was any Pokemon other than a legendary, starter, or Eeveelution. |

The mini-trailer showed Sylveon shining and shooting stars, so it might be, it might not be. Who knows? |

I believe the attack for using stars to damage your opponent is called Swift, which is a Normal type move, not a Fairy type move. I really hope we don't add any more types. Especially if the type is an obvious rip off from Yugioh (which could be a lot of new type ideas, especially considering how long Yugioh's been around at this point). |

I think it's normal and will have heaps of contest styled moves or maybe even an ability that boosts its performance in contest/musicals etc. That'd be cool. But I want more eevelutions- a ground one would be good, and a steel type maybe, Dragon would be cool, or flying, they could be like two different Pegasus-looking creatures. So much speculation! I wouldn't mind if they added Space as a type. |

...All bets are off on this one. It's a fairy. In hindsight, seeing all of the people that were certain that there would be no more types is sort of funny. |
