This probably sounds ridiculous, but I wouldn't mind seeing a Normal type legendary that's a decent Pokemon.

I didn't know that Meloetta was normal. o.o She isn't really obtainable unless you hack her in, though. :x

Most of the legendaries are dragon, so I expect something special instead.
For exemple a grass/fire or something original...

A Psychic/Dark Pokemon would be fairly interesting, as well. I don't think they've done that, but I don't know all the Pokemon from Gen V, so I may be wrong!

If they make a dark/ghost, it would be awesome too because it had almost no weakness.

[color=cyan]Sableye and Spiritomb are Dark/Ghost type. So... They kind of already did.

not to mention Tynamo's evolutionary line has no weaknesses barring stuff like Worry Seed. Also I wouldn't mind if we kept the legendaries to a minimum this generation, like with Kanto and Johto. So maybe have Xerneas and Yveltal, some trio, and maybe another fairy legendary. Now that I think of it, is there a Gen V legendary that can be considered a fairy or whatever it's called like Mew, Celebi, etc? Probably Meloetta.

Victini is the one who fits the category of cutesy fairy-like Legendary with all base 100 stats. Meloetta and Keldeo are both cute Event Legendaries, but Keldeo's BST is 580 and, while Meloetta's BST is 600, her distribution isn't all 100s like Mew and company's are.

I mean they make a Dark/Ghost for legendary. Not normal pokemon.

Now that would be fun... Considering that Spiritomb isn't used in competitive play and Sableye is only used for its DW ability, Prankster, a Dark/Ghost legendary with a BST of 600 (probably) would be abused greatly in competitive play. I don't think that's very likely to happen, though.

Lets think about all the MAIN legendaries so far and their types. When I say main I mean Rayquaza and Zekrom, not Shaymin and Darkrai. Not event pokemon.

KANTO:

Legendary Birds:
Moltres Fire/Flying
Zapdos Electric/Flying
Articuno Ice/Flying

Mew Psychic
Mewtwo Psychic.

JOHTO:

Legendary Dogs:
Suicune Water
Entei Fire
Raikou Electric

Lugia Psychic/Flying
Ho-oh Fire/Flying

HOENN:

Legendarys
Latios Dragon/Psychic
Latias Dragon/Psychic
Regice Ice
Registeel Steel
Regirock Rock

Groudon Ground
Kyogre Water
Rayquaza Flying/Dragon

SINNOH:

Legendary well, group of floating mystics:
Uxie Psychic
Mesprit Psychic
Azelf Psychic

A well as
Dialga Dragon/Steel
Palkia Dragon/Water
Giratina Ghost/Dragon
Heatran Steel/Fire
Cresselia Psychic
And Regigigas Normal

Then we have
UNOVA:

The trio (or quartet?)
Virizion Grass/Fighting
Terrakion Ground/Fighting
Cobalion Steel/Fighting

Another trio...
Thunderus Electric/Flying
Landourus Ground/Flying
Tornadus Flying

Mascots:
Zekrom Dragon/Electric
Reshiram Dragon/Fire

Then we have Black and white 2, which stuffs even more legendaries into the franchise.

Meloetta, Genesect, Keldeo, Kyurem, Black Kyurem, White Kyurem, the Therian forms of Thunderous, Landerous and Tornadus. Don't we have enough?! .____.

At this point Flying, Psychic and Dragon need to be toned down. As well as how many legendaries are in each game. So many legendaries it took me a while to remember the ones I did. And now we have Yveltal and Xerneas a supposed Dark/Flying and Grass/something legendary. Who knows what the trio will be. I hope for something like a Steel/Ghost type or a Poison/Water type for a legendary.

I'd like a nice ghost type pokemon.
They make 5 Gen but I don't like any of the ghost Pokemon.
So I stick to shiny rapidash and crobat... for now.

Really?!? No ghost types? Dude, how can you go about not liking one single ghost pokemon?

1. There's not enough of them
2. They all look weird, only {haunter} and {dusclops} look good.

You know, shuppet, a styrofoam ball with tissue on top of it.
And banette, a possessed doll with a zipper on the mouth.
Spiritomb, is actually a ball made of spirits.
Gengar, who could actually look great, have an horrible tongue.
Chandelure, looks horrible, nuff said.
Sableye, a thing with diamonds on the eyes.
etc.

Ghost is my favorite type, but I don't like any of the ghost Pokemon...

I personally love Rotom. Know idea why but in every Sinnoh game I play, I always catch him and use him in the game. By yes I agree. I don't really like duskclops. I like duskull more. What about Misdreavus? A floating Phantom.

@Frost oh yeah that's right Victini. Because Victini comes right after Arceus in the national pokedex, I sometimes forget to list Victini with legendary Pokemon and that's a bit embarassing for me since I'm a pokemon maniac.
@ChillBill Spiritomb appears in competitive play occassionally. It has the stats and movepool to be useful in certain areas.

What do you guys think about this?
http://www.kimikogaming.net/pokemon-x-a ... ry-dragon/

Tries to link the 2 legends with Norse mythology.
Possible theory?

Dragoboy already said all of that in CrackPot theories. No real point in posting it here...

That would make sense, seeing how Normandy is called that because Vikings used to have that area, and I think Paris isn't that far from Normandy, so... They could a Viking themed legendary.
Anyone?

At this rate, we'll need a legendary-dex by Gen.7

I'd like to say... 4 legendarys would be nice. You can only get one in your play through. Two are exclusive to each game. Choices you make decide which you end up getting. Different story lines would increase the life span of Gen.6 drastically.

edit: Throw in one that can be gotten in all story modes, both games so 5 legendarys, not 4.

before you complain

People would really get pissed off, I understand that idea.

Dedicated fans would play through them over and over, and buy the alternate version to maximize their pokexperience. Isn't that what Nintendo's goal has been all along?

Lots of words? Would you place where I said that? I'm a bit confused why you only quoted three words.

EDIT: Now I get it. You didn't want to post my whole list of legends

Meloetta, Genesect, Keldeo and Mew are event only, but you've mentioned them...
