Wouldn't it be cool to have another game in the Johto Region? I mean, they were probably the best series, considering it had 16 gyms and introduced the Night/Day sequance. Just post your comments if you think this would be cool.

I would love the idea of a G/S/C remake!! In fact, Crystal was the first Pokemon game I ever got(to be honest, it was the first game I got at all!!).

P.S Sinatu, that pic of Snorlax bouncing on Pichu is kewl!!

They prolly will, since they've done remakes of Red and Green.

My bets are on them being called: GleamingGold, ShiningSilver, and SomethingCrystal.

Lol, remake of Yellow... you know what I'm thinking...

I what I miss is the good old days of the gameboy color. Seriously, I don't have enough money to get one of those advances-SP-DS things. But those were really good games, seriously! All of sudden, people used all types, all sorts of pokemon in thier teams! Plus all those move combinations (use earthquake during dig, gust during fly) and type mixes (ground flying?) to create a new world of pokemon yet still keep like the old (level restrictions, battle style, ect.). GSC rock!

GSC where good games, I have good memories of them. Yes, a remake would be awesome, with day and night feature. But I don't believe such games are coming out, first we need Diamond and Pearl, and then a third DP game, I don't know about all of us, but making remakes is interesting for making money, but its not creative at all (as if they would care...)

What is the point of remaking GSC? FireRed and LeafGreen were not remakes, said the creator himself. They were in the same region, true, but different characters. FireRed and LeafGreen were made for the sole purpose of catching the Pokemon that were not in the other half of RS's Pokedex. We've had three generations of Pokemon so far, and a fourth one soon. My guess is that after this, there will be no main Pokemon adventure, just those 'extra' games to make some money, like Pokemon Channel.

i think we need a remake of gsc just so it can be said that each area is as advanced as possible and they can move on to new areas.

also fr/lg have to be remakes they are in the same area, have the same plot line, have the same goals (beat team rocket, become pokemon master), and almost exactly the same pokemon. the biggest difference is the lack of missingno and the mew glitch otherwise fr/lg is just a high-tech red and blue version.... although if they remade yellow.... some one (not saying which particular rodent) should have explosion used right next to them in a two-on-two

Each area as "advanced"? What are you talking about? You must let things lie. Classics are great for a reason. You don't see the original Star Wars or Batman movies being remade, do you?

No, they are not, they are not, they are not. If you don't trust me, trust the creator. ALL Pokemon games are the same in their plot; to become a Pokemon Master. Because it is in the same region doesn't mean much. Obviously if you are in a region you've been to before it will have the same things you remember last time, in this case, Pokemon.

Galar, there are many rumors floating around that Pokemon will come to an end soon. Of course if you cut out the big part of the market, the company will lose money (Nintendo and Pokemon business). Extra games would get a good sale as they are the last Pokemon games, but yes, not as good as the versions. But we'll see. I could just be going crazy.

True, they could do that, and recreate the region. However, how old are you? 20 something? Well, I know you're a medical student, so how long will the obsession go? Most of Nintendo's poke money is coming from the generation that was there at the beginning. True, it spread to other age groups, and little kids are loving it (because of the popular anime and games do get around). If you want my honest estimate (anyone can argue it), NOJ will probably cease making Pokemon products at the max 3 years.

I don't think a remake will be made. In games before Emerald Johto was still mentioned, in R/S for instance a guy was from there. Whe Emerald was released all mentions of Johto were changed to "somplace far away".

Post subject:  Cool while it lasts

You know, what it boils down to is the cool stuff our generation got to do with this game. We saw the revelution from SNES to DS, gaming system to portable. Pokemon did surprisingly well in the US and around the world, we have to at least give credit to that. Let me put this way. About a month ago, I was heading to a Walmart and there was some 7 year old playing Saphire version. Now, I was a bit younger when I first heard of the games, so if i'm here now, then maybe that kid will be talking about the same stuff in 5-6 years. Pokemon is game that each version basically has linked each set of players with the next. If nintendo had simply doubled the amount of stuff in it each time (like with GSC, holding items, evolutions, general amount of pokemon), then we would have probably never had this forum topic. However, Ninetendo has begun to make Pokemon too complicated (Special events, discontinued pokemon, ect.), it's like each set of future players will have to catch up with the games instead of playing it just for fun. Hopefully Ninetendo will get its act together and realize this: until then, it still fun while it lasts..........

Pokeseeker seems to have a very good point (long pause).... he did bringeth life to the worlds of Kanto and- wait a minute-
umm... If he were a god, I don't think he wold have allowed Nintendo to discontinue certain pokemon and stuff... he probably smite them or something...

Its gonna be awesome if they had good graphics and 2regions and its for game boy advance..and nintendo ds=gameboy advance game not ds game ..i said ds that the gameboy games for ds not ds games for ds...
gah...its probably nice...but..well..i dunno..it would probably make it too easy for emerald to get the johto starters..nintendo doesnt want u to get johto starters with just trading from another region..
