Did you decide to invert your color scheme while on the title screen? I know if you press and hold button combinations with the D-pad, the color scheme changes around.

I know that happens, but I didnt. I literally took to steps and the game restarted itself in photo negative. I have no idea how this happened.

Stuff like this is bound to happen, games get old, they glitch. I think the fact that you can change the colour scheme is what happened to your game, somehow it probably triggered itself. How you ended up in Cerulean city is beyond me.

I have vague memories of a time my Gold version had a bad connection to whatever I was playing it on (probably an Advance or an SP) and it would reset and have insane colors.

The weird thing was Ho-Oh on the title having a colored body instead of a silhouette... I guess at some point in development they had a colored Ho-Oh but then decided a silhouette would be better and changed the colors in the sprite's palette to black?

My red and blue version have been bugging out like that too, red doesn't even go past the title screen anymore. It's kinda sad, red was my first video game :'( is there any way to fix it, or is it just too worn out?

Sounds kinda like my old E.T. game, when it got old. But it didn't go negative, the screen just filled up with the "OK!" button after I got past the first few screens.
