yeah! vaporterra is right.

ofcourse Red Blue and Yellow versions are related to each other.
If you go to a cave, then theirs alot of the same wild pokemon you can see in R/B/Y like
a ZUBAT. (grrrhh very annoying when they keep on coming out as a wild)

Well considering there are only 151 originals, it would stand to reason that there would be many repeating wild pokemon, especially in certain zones like a cave or surfing.

When Solid Snake sees an "!" over someones head he runs away. When the Pokemon Trainer sees an "!", he beats them up and steals their money.
