Okay, ever since your pal ludicolo learned that gameboy games were going to be on virtual console for the 3DS, I had to post this topic. So, basically, you should post whether or not you think they will put it on virtual console or if you would like that. PLEASE NINTENDO PUT  and if possible  on there !

I hope they do that would be so fun to play some of the older games and not go on a adventure just to find a yellow, blue or red that can still save file

Main series games, not a chance. Especially not when we "need" remakes every five years now. Spinoffs, maybe. |

I think it`ll turn into some insanely boring game with a crap story line. The original`s will be the best. |

Ya, old post a bit, but figured I'd give a $0.02 I would love to see them on the virtual console, would be nice to have them all in one place instead of a handful all over the place, that like previous posters said, still have working batteries. I own all the originals and the remake versions, but I'd still get the virtual console versions just to play the actual originals, not just the remake version. It would especially be nice if Nintendo would take a hint from Sony and do the virtual consoles like the PSP/PSone games on the PlayStation network and let you transfer virtual consoles from the Wii to the 3DS for portable travel. I want me some legend of the 7 stars portable. But this way you could transfer Pokemon back and forth between console at home and handheld on the go, but knowing Nintendo, it'll never happen. So sad to say, No, I don't think they will actually release the virtual console versions just due to the fact they already made the remake versions and GEN3 was already confirmed for a remake, so unlikely they would put the originals out for downloads. |
