I was playing through Yellow today, and I suddenly wondered something that I have thought of for quite a while now. Is there any way to re-order the attacks on a Pokemon? I know that as of Gen 3 you could do it, but I was really hoping to change the order on how some of the things show up here...

Any help is appreciated.

Does it work if you go to its Summary and select its moves from there?

It's been so long since I've played a Gen I game.

Well, I don't believe the summary actually does that in the Gen I games, simply because the only button press you make takes you out of it. No, I'm not sure of that right at the moment, and no, I can't test it right now, because my game is being really glitchy. It hasn't been this bad before, but I've had it happen a few times where it will just freeze and/or do awkward things... I've only had the game for 10 or 11 years, is that normal to happen at this point? I really don't want it to... That and the fact that it only does this when I put the GBC game into a GBA SP, could that be causing it?

[Never thought this topic would have two purposes, but I guess now it does. I'm afraid that I'll lose my data soon and I really don't want that happening to this game since I'm trying a slightly different method (not Nuzlocke, but just as important, perhaps)...]

Any help appreciated.

I am not sure why it is so glitchy. Have you been performing many glitches your self? like Mew and missingNo etc.? I am playing blue on GBA SP and it works fine for me, so that is wierd. But I have not had it as long as you then either. So that might be the part of the reason. That the coding kinda got an expiration date, and after then it maybe messes up more and more.

According to the mew glitch guide, the game will freeze if you did that wrong. Maybe you did ? So that it **** up the normal "rutine" of game.
I DO HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THIS. IT IS ONLY WHAT I ASSUME.

About that attack order, you can in-battle do the select methode to arrange which attack is placed where. If that is what you ment.

To change move order just press select on the move in battle, then move up/down and select again to swap.

THANK YOU! I've played the game for almost a decade and I've never known about that. It worked perfectly, just so you know. Thanks for all the helpful responses I've gotten on this topic, but its main purpose has now been fulfilled...
