Post The Chimps
Hey guys i haven't been on the forums in a while and i have been recently playing black and white.
I was wondering about what you guys think about the three elemental monkey pokemon.
But more specifically if these pokemon are useful for competitive battling?
I've had a rough brush through the forums and haven't really found any threads on this topic.. but if i have made a mistake and there is one could you please point in the right direction.

To be honest, I don't know why people treat them like they totally suck.

Base Speed, Attack and Special Attack is essentially 100 for all three of the evolved forms, which is great in-game and in the lower competitive tiers. They're fragile, sure, but at least they're not slow. They also get pretty versatile moves, including STAB, Grass Knot (on Simipour/Simisear), Shadow Claw, Crunch, Acrobatics, Rock Slide, Brick Break, etc. They're definitely not like a Pidgeot or a Ledian in terms of early-game Pokemon.

Well all of the monkeys are Better than alot of the pokes in their type . Also they have sortof valences stats and I think2 good ones each . They also have a pretty big movepool.
