I had a pokewalker, for HG but i lost it. then i suddenly did recover it, but then it was not turning on, when hitting the button. I have tried to change battery. I tried with the battery which was in my SS pokewalker which is as it should, but the HG pokewalker still doesn't work.

what can i do, to make it work again? Those reset-functions in pokewalker-guide, are not what I need. I need to be able to turn it on again.

HELP PLEASE.

Well, if the battery you pulled from your SS pokewalker isn't dead and wasn't installed incorrectly when you tried it, then it could be the contact is dirty, and thus not making a connection. Or, more likely, something else inside the pokewalker is broken. I can't think of any other reason it would not turn on at all.

It was not dead. I put the battery the same way as it was lying in SS-walker which was also like the HG-walker's dead battery was lying too.
-"The concat is dirty" you mean the contact between battery and pokewalker right? Well it was not dust bunnies in there.. How can i fix it if something inside is broken then?

well if the contact doesn't look dirty, then I think you're out of luck. I don't think it's very easy to take apart and repair if something inside is broken. I would buy a new one, or live without one. My friend got one off Ebay for 10$, and I've seen them in pawnshops sometimes. I doubt the game stores have replacements lying around, but maybe you could contact Nintendo about other ways to get replacement pokewalkers?

no. in fact, i think you can have multiple pokewalkers linked to one game. i really should test that theory, since i have one game that has both winners path and yellow forest. i could be on both routes at once!
