A while ago i had noticed while trying to evolve a feebas (on my ruby game) that the berry plants, or whateva they are called, stopped producing their fruit that i so despiratly needed, i checked all the plants i could find every few days, but nothing had happened. I am stuck on theorys of how this happened or why. Has anybody encountered this or knows the solution?

BTW, i have been playing for around 143 hours on this current game, i don't know this would effect the situation.

P.S. And I don't want start a new game for now as there are a few high level pokemon and shinies ( {feebas} ) , thats the main reason, that i want to keep and i can't trade @ the moment.

It's probably the Berry Glitch, if you have FRLG you can fix it (requires 2 systems and a trading wire).

it's nice that you mention this cause I went through the berry glitch once and just maybe a month ago or more I got out of it. I had the pokevirus during that time too it was awsome...

This is what happened: I found a friend who had a pokw with the pokevirus and I asked him to trade the poke over to my system. About that time during a few days my Ruby game went through this glitch and I was stuck with the poke virus for maybe a year untill one day I noticed all my barries started to grow again and I got TV programs about wild Skitty. So it is possible to get out of this berry glitch without having to connect to Fire, Leaf, Emerald, or nintendo. Plus just about every poke I own has the pokevirus so It's really awsome.

As Raichu mentioned, this is the berry glitch- a glitch in the time program in ru/sa that causes time to stop running forwards after roughly a year of play. Fortunately, Nintendo is extremely apologetic about this, and they have installed a way of fixing it on almost every pokemon game released after ru/sa.

If you have Colloseum for the gamecube, just connect your pokemon GBA game to it and the glitch will automatically be fixed.

If you own emerald, leaf green or flame red, along with a second GBA system and a GBA link cable, you can connect the two and fix the game that way. Connect the FR/LG/emerald game to the 1P side of the cable (or just guess if you have an unofficial cable like me, and do it again if it doesn't work.) I'm not sure about emerald, but with LG/FR wait until the charizard/venusaur appears, then press select+B and follow the on screen instructions. If you've done it right, the game will tell you it's fixed.

In some places, nintendo will fix the glitch for free if you mail your game to them. Do a google search for "berry glitch fix" to find some more ways to fix this hassle.

Does the main site have any info on the Berry Glitch and methods to fix it, TK? If not you can probably add these stuff to the RSE section. I think it'll be helpful :D

i don't no if this is true but my friend told me that after a year all ur beerries die and fall off the plants and tthe only way to fix it is if u have colloseum plus the bonus disk that use to come with it and trade a jirachi over and jirachii helps the berries? im not sure if it would work.

A useful side affect, unless its a different glitch, is that pokerus does not go, even after months, i got it from a wild {nincada} i caught it and it spread through the box then i switched pokes around to infect the rest so now most of my pokes have it ... w00t. i've used this to my advantage and have been EV training :D , so its not all bad.
