I used Oshawott, its stats are balanced and has sufficient type coverage to sweep through the game. As dewott I used: Tackle Furry cutter Watergun/Scald Razor shell And as Samurott: Return Grass knot Surf Aqua tail |

Oshawott. He's currently level 37 and kicking ass as Samurott. <3 Can't wait to get the other starters though, I like Serperior too. |

Tepig AKA Ushi-oni was my starter but I Traded over an oshawott ♀ because Its best moves are egg moves (night slash/air slash) BTW Emboar is based on Ushi-oni like ganon, Note Ganons Blue so I'm saving that for a shiny Emboar.

I took Snivy as well now a Serperior and it is superior except for the fact the flying gym will be really hard considering my highest level poke after Serperior is a Gurrdurr my Vqanillite needs to grow. |

I picked snivy ( it's currently a level 31 servine) I like the idea of a fast defensive poke I have used it and it works out in most gyms I said most. |

Well, my Servine has been the most help so far pretty much all the time...almost beat Pansear but a +4 Incinerate on a Snivy with only slightly over half it's HPs is just asking to faint in 1 Hit which is what happened... Other then that, it has been the best member of my now 5 member party, kicking butt with stat modifier boosted moves since day 2... |

I took an Oshawott, which is now a level 32 Dewott. The only grass starter I was really fond of was Venusaur and Sceptile. And am yet to become a fan of fire/fighting types since I feel fighting creates unnecessary weaknesses. |

I picked Tepig because I found it to be cuter than the other two. It has been working really well for me, Flame Charge helps make up for its not so good speed. Though its currently a Pignite, can't wait for it to be an Emboar. I definitely like it better than Infernape and Blaziken. |

I picked Snivy, it is now a Level 69 Serperior! It was at Lv. 65 when I beat the game, but I did not train the rest of my team well before I beat the Elite Four... (The next highest [Besides Zekrom's 50] was 35!) |

Snivy. Haven't had any real problems, even without any real type coverage. (Drilbur, Simipour, Herdier and Sawk all around level 25). |

I chose Snivy. I always pick my favorite of the three starters on my first playthrough. Serperior is indeed superior. But I'll choose Oshawott next time I can play. Tepig can suck it, though. I'm sorry, I just really hate Emboar. |
