Pokemon is a cash cow for game freak. As long as people keep playin them they'll keep makin em. |

I don't think so at all, considering that I'm fairly certain Game Freak doesn't care about ending the National Dex at a nice, round number. Additionally, as already said, it's pretty much certain that Game Freak will keep making Pokemon as long as the demand is there. (I also think there's something about the game not supporting data for a 650th individual Pokemon not including formes, but don't quote me on that.) So basically, there will more than likely be a 650th Pokemon, it'll just be the Grass starter of Gen VI. :p edit, directed at the post below mine since I don't feel like posting almost twice in a row: Oh right, I somehow managed to completely forget about that. Well. Yeah, that's possible too - point being that it'll be part of Gen VI and not an addition to Gen V. (This is what I get for posting while I'm tired.) |

Gen I ended at 151 Gen II ended at 251 Gen III ended at 386 Gen IV ended at 493 Gen V ended at 649 I really don't think they care. |

It's not really a question, the data has been cracked open by hackers and all 156 Pokemon were revealed. There's no more Pokemon. |

AHHHHH, nuts i misunderstood the question... You're asking if there's one more pokemon in the dex not if theres another pokemon game (Where the heck was my head that day...) Anywho, Im gonna say that they have showed us ALL the pokemon for this gen, so there isn't one more poke for B/W. |

I think there will be at least 1 more. I wouldn't say they'll end it on 650, though. Not for this generation and not with a third game more than likely coming out for a trio. A Japanese company will stick with what works. 3 games per series is what works so we'll see a new game and there will probably be new Pokemon in it. |

The Pokedex is not expanding beyond #649 in Generation V. Whether or not the third version adds in additional forms remains to be seen, but those aren't new Pokemon. Just different variations of old ones. Skymin was still #492. The Rotom appliances were still #479. Origin Giratina was still #487. The alternate form of Kyuremu (if one is created) will still share Kyuremu's current Pokedex number. And so on and so forth. |

I don't understand what this obsession is with them creating just one more pokemon to make 650. I have read this thread a few times, but I think Frost nailed it on the head. What's done is done, to think that there will be just one random pokemon added in the 3rd game of Gen 5 just to make it a nice number is borderline OCD. |
