I am sorry for having to make a post just to ask this, but I was wondering if there is a move that exists for pokemon in HGSS that switches abilities with another pokemon?

Ahh thanks a ton, its sad though that was exactly what i wanted until it said wonderguard wasn't able to be swapped. I was watching this video on the mimic-Rage glitch where basically any pokemon that could learn Mimic could learn any move. So this guy has a Machamp with sheer cold, basically the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. So going along with that theory I was going to have Sableye learn Skill Swap, and swap out with a pokemon with wondergaurd. Since sableye has no weaknesses with wonderguard it would not be able to be hit. I was going to dominate the double in the battle tower with that machamp and an invincible Sableye but never mind that idea. Thanks for your help.

In case you are wondering wtf I am talking about, here is the Machamp video

And here is how to do it. This is ALL done in game and anybody with the patience to do this can. It has nothing to do with AR or anything of that matter, just exploiting an in game glitch much like RNG pokemon. I hope this doesn't offend anyone but it's probably old news to you guys.

@Classic K

Also, there's an ability called Trace that copies the foe's ability.

Theres a move called Worry Seed that changes the foe's ability to Insomnia- which prevents sleep.
Theres another move called Gastro Acid that gets rid of the foe's ability.

You totally missed the point to the question that was asked, also it was answered a long time ago. The reason it needed to be a move was to make it could use it on Spiritomb to take the Wonderguard ability to become untouchable. I know this, as I was the one that asked the question.

Exactly which was why I gave up on it. Now I have a Gastro Acid Sheer Cold Machamp which was just as good.
