In-game, Raticate has Super Fang, Quick Attack, and Shadow Ball. Those are the only moves it really needs. Gyarados has no real access to reusable TMs, as EQ is too precious to just "use", and HP Flying is impossible to obtain. Rattatta > Magikarp. |

I like Magikarp cause it evolves into Gyarados. And Gyarados is stronger than Raticate. |
