Okay. anyone remember in Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, there was an old man who lived in Mossdeep, and he had a back door in his house, and if you checked the door, it said it was locked? well, in Emerald, it seems to have been replaced with a Multiplayer Game based building. was this door ever able to be opened? and also, in emerald, i've found another old man with a door in the back of his house, once again it's not accessible as there are 3 potted trees in the way. he can be found in Sootopolis. is there any way to get into this room, or are they simply for appearance? possibly a hint for a re-release of a later version of the game?

If you and a friend had one of those e-reader thingies, you could supposedly use the cards that came with them to battle in his house. In addition, the e-reader is what alters the altering cages found in firered and leafgreen.

As for remakes, Nintendo seems to be releasing them about ten years after the debut of the original games meaning that any RSE remakes are a long ways away.
