The cheating option I reffered to was one of 2 things (could be either) gameshark/action replay/xploder/you get the idea, and the other was the GS duplicate trick. |

^Its in the pokemon hotel in Celdon City (err.. the one with Erika). Notice how its shaped like a pokemon center? Well, ya know how the PC in the pokemon center is always in that corner? Go right where a PC would be standing if that hotel was a pokemon center, and press "A". |

While it is there in GSC it was removed for RSE, what stands in its place is the super glitch BADEGG. Correction, there is a 'MissingNo' in the form of a new name in Ruby and Sapphire. As to its location in Emerald in puzzle. Some might have caught the name on another website, but it would be what you call a "bad egg". It appears as black circle with a white question mark in the middle (NO CHEAT DEVICE REQUIRED, BUT SPECIFIC DIRECTIONS TO FOLLOW). If caught, your party Pokemon gain the status of PokeRus. Also, let it be noted, it DOES have a Pokedex entry, and it's not glitched. If memory serves me correctly, it was something along the lines of "A new Pokemon that has yet to be discovered... (etc)" My assumption is that the programmers intended it as a test of some sort, and added that little tidbit in there. I'll try and find the code again, depending on if the website is still up. If you'd like just the basics, I remember it having to do with Dewford Town and the cave. First you had to talk to one of the Fisherman (I forget) and battle him and then go in and it's there. However, their are previous directions to be followed, and that I will try to find out. Also, if there were questions about MissingNo. in the GSC series, if traded from RBY it will be transfigured into either a Remoraid or a Stantler. **Note: Using a GameShark, or Action Replay (which is what I used to also find the prementioned "test question pokemon"), you will most likely fight them in the wild. I didn''t state it right, but I know whatour saying. Badegg IS a glitch, Badegg is also NOT a glitch. Badegg was put in to punish cheaters, the problem is on dewford there is a CARTRIDGE FATAL glitch called Badegg, its a missingno allright, the fact it picked badegg as the name is just a coincidience. Other than on hex stuff, don't try to prove me wrong, I know my way around Missingno. |

In the Celadon City hotel, go to the top right as if there was a PC there in a PokemonCenter and log on (Press A). |

Thats one of the reasons I made this, I knew a fair bit, and then I saw tons of totally wrong ones so I got it all right and made an authoritive post of it, TR roses is great too. Also, if you've heard all the rumors have you heard that missingno was originally the pre-evo of jynx but was deleted in america because it was a stripper, and japan kept it because they think its funny to pervert kids

That's one of the fakest rumours I've ever heard about Missingno. The only rumour that seems to fit Missingno is it was supposed to be a 4th legendary bird, the Water bird, which would explain why it learns Water Gun and Sky Attack. |

That wasn't an all out rumor. That was an assumption because of the cry it gave and the attacks that it did carry at capture. |

You just have to give Missingno a rare candy. And if Missingno grows up a level by EXP points it will evolve into Rhydon. |

I most likely won't update next visit, but maybe after, I am almost entirely quitting psypoke, thus, The Missingno Files is on hiatus, here, the version on the E4 will always stay up to date. |
