Hey, I have a male Murkrow that knows Brave Bird and a female Murkrow and knows Roost and Taunt.
Both are holding an Everstone.

For some reason I can't get both moves bred onto the offspring. It only gives the babies Brave Bird.

I've been setting this up all night and now this happens... what am I doing wrong?

Maybe you can only teach one Egg Move to a particular pokemon?

In that case, I would simply have to use up my TM to teach my Murkrow Roost?

I don't think Roost is an Egg Move for Murkrow.

EDIT: According to the Psydex, it's not.

Ok...let's see to do this you need a pokemon that can breed with Murkrow or it's evolved form that has the following;

1. Male Gender
2. Brave Bird attack
3. Roost attack
4. Breed compatibility with Murkrow's family

"now the baby will have Brave Bird & Roost, Brave Bird cause it's an Egg move & Roost cause the male parent knows this move which is a TM move so...find a Male pokemon other then Murkrow with Roost & Brave Bird both on it & make sure it can breed with Murkrow before hand & there you go"...

Only males pass on Moves, so the male would need to know roost and taunt, So tms can be passed but only by the male.

Oh yeah, I forgot about Taunt, just have the Male parent know that move too or perferably teach it to the baby via TM instead...

The world is aware of this sir, I just like to leave some stuff up to the person asking I mean we have a way of finding out what can be breeded with Murkrow via Psydex & on top of that, he already knows how to get Brave Bird on to it, just not it & Taunt...

Yeah, I used Staraptor for Brave Bird.

So sum up what I'm hearing here: I could simply teach Roost using the TM to a male Murkrow that knows Brave Bird and that would work.

Having the TM for Roost is the only way you could pass it down since its not a baby move for Murkrow.
Sorry for the late response.

No it is not the only way, why, cause you can teach the Male parent it & have it breed with Murkrow & the baby will have the move when it is born cause the Male parent can pass on TM moves to it's offspring if the offspring can learn it & Murkrow can learn Roost by TM itself so...

You're right, sorry. I'm getting myself mixed up. As far as my questions are concerned, this topic is pretty much concluded.
