True, but Ekans can be bred with Poison Fang, so I think it should be able have the other Fangs as egg moves

I currently have a Duskull who I'm going to be evolving very soon and I would like his end move set to include Ice Punch. Dusclops apparently starts with this move, but Duskull can't learn it. Does this mean that Dusclops only starts with it if you catch it in the wild? |

No, it means you can visit the move tutor and he will teach it to your Dusclops in exchange for a heart scale (at least in diamond he wants heart scales, not sure about HG / SS). |

Ok. There is a move relearner in Blackthorn City. Despite never having learned it, this is the guy I want, right? Thanks for the help |

Yeah, even if you never taught the move to the pokemon yourself. As long as its listed as a move the pokemon learns prior to its current level, it can be taught by the move tutor. |

Hmm. I hatched an Ekans but the move tutor could not teach it Ice Fang, despite the fact it should be learned at level one. |

That would be because only Arbok can learn Ice Fang, not Ekans. So you'll have to evolve your ekans before going to the move tutor. I hate when they do stuff like that >.< |

Well to be fair in Ekans & Arbok's case, Ekans just doesn't have the ""fangs"" to use attacks like Ice Fang let alone Bite which it can learn thankfully so it makes some sense... |
