So I'm playing Fire Red on my computer with the VBA emulator. I've beaten the Elite Four and have gotten the National Dex and the Rainbow pass, as well as given the Ruby to Celio. The problem is that when I try to use the ferry to go to Five, Six, or Seven Island, the sailor's dialogue freezes at "Ahoy there! Where do you want to sail?" and nothing happens. It's not the game that's freezing; I can still walk around and open the Start menu and suchlike, but it prevents me from advancing any further in the Sevii Islands, since I haven't been to any of those islands. Let me know if you need any other information about my setup, and I'll try to find and post it. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. |

Are you also unable to get to Island #4? By the way, you also need to have at least 60 Pokemon in your Pokedex. |

Yeah, Four Island is as far as I can get, and I have well over 60 Pokémon. I think it's a technical thing. |

I think the issue may have to do with a corruption when the files were loaded. |

I think the problem has to do with you needing to purchase the game. Go down to the store, spend $20-30 and buy the dang thing. Any used game store has one. If you can't, give me the $30 and I'll pick one up and mail it to you. Geesh, stop using pirated software and you won't have a problem. |
