I daresay it would be pretty neato if Lugia, Groudon, Rayquaza, Palkia, Giratina and Arceus combined into one when they reached lv 89 while in the same party.
Yeah. Yeah, I definitely think that should happen.

And if you have a spare pokeball, when arceus reaches lv 100 with an extra slot in your party, a shedinja should appear!

You're kidding, right? Sneasel was total garbage.

To be fair, the main reason Sneasel was terrible in Gen II/III was because it didn't get any physical STAB from being Dark/Ice. If the physical/special split had been around since the start of the series, or if Weavile hadn't been introduced in Gen IV, I'd bet that Sneasel would have gotten a decent amount of usage in at least UU, maybe some in OU if it was lucky, in the beginning of the generation, similar to the usage that Weavile received in the early days.

No way. Physical STAB or not, Weavile's main assets are its high Attack and Speed, and Sneasel's Attack is much lower (base 120 vs. base 95) with base 10 less Speed. It's also even more fragile, so it would have been UU at best and it'd probably struggle there because Stealth Rock would still be present.

And god, I hope you guys didn't take my last post seriously. I hate threads like this because people make posts just like that one, although not quite that exaggerated. Not every single Pokemon in the game needs a new evolution and a new pre-evolution for every single Pokemon is REALLY not needed.

Ha, um, pretty sure no one took it seriously =P
And if any of them/you did, then they/you should seriously quit Pokemon forever.
Evolutions for those specific legendaries? Hell, I'D quit Pokemon forever if that happened.

True, not every one of them needs new evolutions, I just think it's safe to say we're using this thread as a creative outlet.
Brainstorming stuff Gamefreak probably won't even consider. Because it's fun =)

Of course not...actually my response to this was just me being ignorant...Oh & I agree since one of some pokemon's appeal is the fact that they don't evolve...

Now that that's been clearly noted this thread should move on smoothly...

lol...yeah...if I do I hope my evolution has the Ice Type at least...that would be elegant...

but no, I need to get back on subject...the Sinnoh PreEvolutions (duh);

1. Carnivine (it's species type got me thinking what if...)

& since that's it & all I would also like to see Eevee recieve an Steel or Ground Type Evolution next Gen...mainly Steel since there are enough moves of the type for it to learn & all...this is on top of the more wanted Poison Type Evolution...*sign*...I can only hope...

I think the next Eeveelution they're most likely to add is a Dragon-type.
They've covered all the original "Special" types except that one.

And I know there's already {umbreon}
but I REALLY want to see a Ghost-type.

Whoever did that Dunsparce evolution, props.

Also I think that a Farfetch'd evolution is all but confirmed, people have been yelling out for one for ages. Qwilfish will also probably get an evolution.

^^I definitely want an evo for Farfetch'd. However, I honestly can't imagine what he'd look like though.

On the other hand I can imagine what the evo for Qwilfish would look like:

I agree with the fact that not ever single Pokemon should get an evolution, but it's fun to think 'What if...'

I'm expecting not as many (pre)evolutions this next generation as the last one. More like the third generation where they made up a lot of new Pokemon families.

I see that every Generation there has been less & less new pokemon that doesn't evolve from or into another older pokemon...though that being said the Hoenn Region had the most new pokemon families...

Well...if they did make a Dragon Type Eeveolution, it would be too strong compared to the other ones even knocking innocent but currently most powerful Eeveolution {flareon} down a peg...though to be honest so would a Steel Type I guess...my point, Leafeon & Glaceon aren't that difficult to beat with another Eeveolution as they have plenty of weaknesses & weak points in their Base Stats on top of that but if they can make a Dragon Type Eeveolution that isn't too powerful then I will praise them...though I still want a Poison Type one first...& I'm not favoring a Ghost Type one but it can be easily done even with {umbreon} already around...meh...if only they would have made an Eeveolution or two for the Hoenn Pokemon set...but nooo...

Good point, but they would more than likely just redistribute the exact same stat values in different stats like they have in all the other Eeveelutions, so I doubt a Dragon-type would be too powerful.
But it would be the only fully evolved pure Dragon, which means it would be weak to Ice and Dragon only, which would be new. Pretty much one of the only reason I'm resistant to using Dragons is because they all have 4x weaknesses.
BUT the Eeveelution wouldn't have nearly the same base stats as ANY other Dragon. I think it would be pretty balanced.

Or maybe it'll be the new Legendary. O.o

And I was totally expecting Eeveelutions in Gen III. In fact, that's when I was expecting Grass-type and Ground-type to show up.
(Super-tall grass near Fortree and the desert ... would have fit right in.)

Honestly, I'm surprised they haven't done that.
Maybe they've gotten sick of all the Normal-types they've introduced...

I always kinda liked Jynx too... However, I think Game Freak is trying to stay away from Jynx, aren't they?
