I wonder if they composed it in the days of G S C and just never used it and didn't program it into the game, or if it's entirely new just like the new safari zone... it's probably the latter, though. I'm so stoked about the GB Sounds music player, though, and with the music in Rt. 47 and 48 having a GB version scored major points in my book. :)

No, it shouldn't, unless the pokemon has glitched attacks or is holding some kind of glitched item (highly unlikely though.)

You should be fine :)

It's when you do something wrong WHILE hacking, NOT AFTER hacking that you can mess up your game.

Also, if it was "legit enough" to be on the GTS, then there's virtually no chance for it to mess up the game. You're good, my friend.

If you post EVERYTHING you see in the Summary Menu here, I can tell if its legit or not. (PP also from the attacks, that's important.)

Even if a pokemon's hacked, it's fine.
Unless you hatch a bad egg, Unown Love is completely right in that nothing after the hacking is done can mess up your game.

They specifically "remastered" it just to be cool. =)
It wasn't in the originals at all.
They're just so awesome that they both orchestrated it and made an 8-bit version for this game.

I had that in mind that this could be the case but just wanted to be sure since I've been everywhere in GSC & didn't hear this whatsoever...btw, some of the GB sounds that were in GSC were just not actually from the GSC versions...it's so obviously different...

It's defenetely the same as the Safari Zone theme which I also like just as much as Route 47/48...& yes, this was a great addition to the GB sounds...

where do I get a snorunt i wan't a froslass also is it true that yellow forest is coming april 1st

Author:  Trainer_Tarika [ Mon Mar 29, 2010 4:57 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: The HG/SS Questions Thread

For snorunt, it is not available in the wild in HG/SS. You must either transfer from the Pokewalker, or trade it from D/P/Pt.

Diamond and Pearl: Rare w/ Pokeradar :Routes 216 & 217, Lake Acuity Surrounding

Platinum Uncommon Route 217, Lake Acuity, Lake Acuity Lakefront

Source: The site named after the 251st pokemon (wow at the word filter...) (Didn't see it in the Psydex.)

Frosslass: Evolve from Female Snorunt (via Dawn Stone)

Yes, the Yellow Forest is coming April 1st.

Did you actually even bother looking at the bloody Psydex? Seriously. It's not that hard. You don't even need to go to other sites!

Follow these instructions:

1. Click on Psydex
2. Type "Snorunt"
3. Click "Locations"

http://www.psypokes.com/dex/psydex/361/locations

So easy!

I looked through the gyms but....do you need a badge to use Rock Climb or is it just kinda....there?

Author:  Spoinkable [ Mon Mar 29, 2010 8:18 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: The HG/SS Questions Thread

Well it's not embedded with any of the badges.
Maybe they're just going with since you can't get it until after you've earned all 16, you won't abuse it?
But it'd make life so much easier to have access the whole playthrough.
....
Come to think of it, nowhere that you CAN Rock Climb before Mt. Silver is in any way tied to a plot point.

Maybe you CAN use it all the time.

@ the "Guest" - well sorree, but what I was trying to say was that I didn't just pull that info out of my butt. Please be a little nicer next time to noobs, especially since you clearly didn't take the time to register.

@ Lord Vegeta: I think that nothing special happens after 100 hours, I've never encountered a bonus in the pokemon games for reaching a certain time.

There's two men who exchange your shards for berries: one in the Eastern section of Violet City and the other in Fuchsia City. If you talk to them, they spin around and say "Shard de berry, Shard de berry" which I think is quite amusing. You get 3 berries per shard.

Well sorreeeee, but I think it's a huge insult to the webmasters of this site when you post links to other sites where the information is clearly visible and easily accessible on Psypoke, don't you think? And I'm not obliged to be "nice" to noobs since I am one - hence the Guest status :O

Anyway, this is not the place to be bickering. If you have issues with my horrendous behaviour or are morbidly offended, I suggest you let a moderator know so they can clean up these posts.

The berries they trade for are awesome, I must say. Definitely worth Shard hunting.

{staryu} if you can get one is fantastic. But for Victory Road ... {geodude} . All you need in there is Rock Smash and Strength.

I use Bibarel, Weavile, and some random Flying-type (Lugia, in my case) for my HM moves. Bibarel learns Waterfall, Cut, Strentgh, and Rock Climb. Weavile learns Rock Smash, Surf, Whirlpool, and the most amazing move of all time, False Swipe. Lugia just has Fly as a move I use regularly and has normal moves elsewise.

For the pokemon that evolved at certain locations like Mt. Coronet or Moss Rock, how do we make them evolve in HGSS?

I think it's just because there's that other radio in there that Giovanni uses in the Celebi event.

You have to trade them. =(

Articuno is in it's usual spot in seafoam islands
Zapdos is actually in front of the power plant instead of in it.
Moltress...if I'm not mistaken, he's just inside Silver Cave before you go to face Red (aka Ash)
