 Help leveling up to defeat elite 4 for the 2nd time

Post Help leveling up to defeat elite 4 for the 2nd time
Alright, so I ran through Kanto REALLY fast. That was easy.

So then its time to fight the elite 4 again and their pokemon have gone up by a ton.

I don't need any help with my team set-up, I just want to know some really effective ways to level up. Any good ideas?


So far, I've been just hanging out in Mt. Silver.

Listen to the radio to find out what your swarm for the day is. Wait until it's Chansey (you might be waiting for a few weeks, Chansey never swarms in my game >_>) and make sure you have a Butterfree with Compoundeyes and Thief. Hunt down Chansey and use Thief to steal six Lucky Eggs (you'll need to find six different Chanseys with Lucky Eggs, only a 5% chance, 10% with Compouneyes.)

Fight things in Mt. Silver or train against the Gym Leaders on their rematch days to level up.
