I tried deleting Surf off my Swampert, and he replies, "Hm! Your Swampert doesn't seem willing to forget Surf." How does that even happen?

Do you have any other pokemon who know Surf? Surf is an HM move, and you cannot delete the HM moves unless you have another pokemon that also knows the move.

Dude, that has never happened to me before. I think one time i was deleting Rock Smash of my Relicanth, no one else in my party knew that move, but it worked.

I don't believe the other pokemon has to be in your party. A Pokemon Center for storage is always accessible by walking from the Move Deleter's position.

To clarify (merely for my future reference), if you have two (or more) Pokemon with the same HM move is the only way you can delete the HM off of the Pokemon...

Pokemon #2 does NOT have to be in your party.

Hopefully this clears up any confusion for people like me... :P

AEPMT :D :) 8-)
