Does anyone know when HG & SS is going to be released in Australia if anyone knows the release date can you please send me a private message.

Ok this is addressed to not only the post creator but also anyone else curious,
There is no set date as far as i know but its rumoured for LATE 2010,
my advice is to order from the US if your too impatient to wait :)

Unless my memory is faulty, Pokemon Platinum came out in Australia only a few weeks after it came out in the US. The US release date was March 22nd, and in Australia it came out in April. (I know because I live in Australia, and I bought it at the time.)

So we can probably expect to see HeartGold and SoulSilver hit the shelves in Australia pretty soon after they're released in the US in Spring 2010. (Although in Australia, it'll be autumn rather than spring.) There's not likely to be an excruciatingly long wait.

hmm i wonder if thats the same as NZ, when Diamond and pearl released in US it took months for NZ to get it, i ended up paying more for it just because i didnt want to wait that long..
damn NZ we seem to get things very late on...take the movie 'Watchmen' on Blu Ray, the release date for it after apparently being delayed was August 15th 2009 but im still waiting.... curses!

In the US, the rumour is that the games will be released at the start of April.
If that's true, then the release date of HeartGold and SoulSilver in Australia is likely to be late April or early May.

According to Pokebeach.com, Amazon.com and NOA has confirmed the HG/SS Release date to be March 14, 2010 and if you look at the box art on Amazon the English games will come with the PokeWalker. Warning: This info is not yet confirmed to be true. So it's unknown whether it's true or not.

Yeah, I heard about Amazon too. The fact it's being released on March 14th is still kind of hilarious and the first thing I thought about was how much more epic Pi Day is going to be next year. :>

Pi Day is March 14, also known as 3/14. The number pi is 3.14 (well not exactly, it's an infinite number, but that's the first 3 numbers). i know, im a math geek :oops:

Knowing the first three digits of Pi hardly makes you a math geek, my recitation to the ninth decimal is dwarfed in comparison by some of my friends who can go up to the thirtieth decimal of Pi.

Still the fact that it will be released on Pi day is quite interesting.

Yep it's official. Nintendo and the official Pokemon website reveals the North American release date for HG/SS. It is March 14, 2010. Look at PokeBeach and Pokemon.com for more information. Even GameStop has changed the release date to March 14th 2010. I can't wait.

Being a math nerd and knowing pi have nothing to do with each other. I know 35 places and I'm just barely passing math.

That being said this date is also only two weeks before my eighteenth birthday, which would mean something I guess if I wasn't planning on pre-ordering the **** out of it and making sure I have it that day. Spring Break is that week, too, which means I have tons of free time to play.

The release date in America is now confirmed as April 14th, so in all likelihood the release date in Australia will be between the 5th and the 15th of May. If you order from overseas, the game itself will be cheaper, but then there's the shipping costs...

i am so psyched about this game. Gold and Silver were some of my favorite pokemon games. I am hoping the remake will totally rock! and Jamie, i think knowing 35 numbers into Pi is pretty impressive. i'm young so only 3.14 is only the main knowledge i know of for pi. I do know that there is no repeating number pattern in the decimal place.

So Korea's release of HeartGold and SoulSilver is Feb.4.2010. Dammit! That's 2 days before my Birthday! Unfortunately, I live in North America, so I will have to wait another month to get my copy. :(

Gamestop.ca actually has the date set to March 1st, but I guess that's just an estimate (Gamestop isn't exactly the most dependable source.)
