So i was just messing around in platinum with the dowsing app, and you know that huge empty patch of marsh to the right of Pastoria? If you go all the way to the upper left and dowse around (you have to be standing out of the marsh to do so, if you have sunk in, you cant dowse, and you have to escape to regain the ability to)

you can find a dawn stone! This is BEFORE you have to beat veilstone, BEFORE you get surf, and it's the second dawn stone location. Enjoy!
