Obviously my first was the red Gyarados back in gold, but other than the blindingly obvious, it'd have to be a shiny Diglett I stumbled upon in leaf green several years ago. I never really tried for shiny pokemon until fairly recently. |

My first and only shiny (excluding Red Gyrados) was a Shiny Onix in Iron island in Pokemon Diamond. Unfortuantely, I had Riley, and he kept attacking it, so I tried to knock out his Lucario so I could capture it, but the other pokemon did that first, and my attack got redirected towards the Onix...>.< I nearly chucked my DS out the window. ^_^;; |

Like most people, the red Gyarados in Gold was my first shiny  In Ruby it was a Poochyena (and then i accidentally saved over the file.  ) In Fire Red I got an Ekans, Leaf Green was a Caterpie, Emerald was a Trapinch and Diamond i got a Bidoof.

First, a chained Machop. Then, I chained and got two Togepi's. The last one was a Pichu. I was chaining for a shiny Pichu, and found him in a non-shiny patch of grass. |

Mine was a Dugtrio which I found while going to attempt a Beldum chain less then an hour before the next day(which ended terribly, hate that sandstorm). It was caught in my Daimond Version two files ago & now resides in my Pearl Version where it shall stay & as a bonus it caught pokerus. It was the first pokemon generated that specific time I turned on the game & it occured shortly prior to Aug. 17, 2007. I'm done now. |

I was doin' some research from my Pokemon games and Geodude wasn't the first shiny I got. It was a Tailow. I really thought it was Geodude but guess not.

My first shiny (aside from red gyarados and chained) would have to be my shiny misdreavus i got while breeding for HP fighting the netx would have to be a clefairy i found on the way to spear piller for the first time in platinum. Technicaly my first shiny was a shinx but i'm only counting randome encounter shinies |

I know i caught others but i cant remember any. |

They all have crappy natures, though, so it's very bitter sweet...EV training is a very easy way to get shinies, though, and it's practically multi-tasking. |

My very first shiny was a golden Poochyena in Emerald. I didn't know about shinies back then, so I just remembered I had a weird Poochyena (Which eventually evolved into a Mighteyena) as I restarted my game. When I later found out about shinies, I kicked myself. |

First shiny i saw a flareon in battle tower(emerald).When I saw it I my naive self took it for mystery gift  .The first shiny i caught however was a tentacool.

My 1st shiny dat I have found was a lvl 20+ wooper in da Great Marsh Safari Zone (which i still have in diamond). In da same game, I later and much later caught a lvl 50 shiny Illumise (which is resting well in my Pokemon Ranch on da Wii)! |

I actually have never seen a wild shiny Pokémon. My first, though, was a shiny Ampheros and second was a Zubat that is now a Crobat. |

The first shiny I have ever found was a gligar on my first run throught gold. I saw the sparklies and recognized them from the Gyarados, but other than that, I didn't know what they meant, and I can't remember if I recognized a color change or not. Anyway, I tried to catch it, because I needed a gligar regardless, but when I go to throw the pokeball (it was my only fast ball, I had read the guide and it said that gligar liked to run, and that fast balls worked better or something) it...it....it ran away!!! The catch fail and it said "Wild Gligar has fled!". I didn't realize the significance at the time, but I failed to catch my first shiny... I never really dealt with Kurt again after that. My first (captured) shiny was a Tentacool I caught (with a master ball this time) the very morning of that last third generation Mew givaway, I think September 19, '05 or '06, I can't remember. Just turned up out of the blue to the north of Mt. Pyre. I only learned of cloning that same game, but after evolving it. |

My first shiny was a Milotic, Lvl. 100, unless you count the Red Gyrados on Gold & Silver Got my Milotic in GTS

Excluding the shiny Gyarados in Gold/Silver, I caught a shiny Geodude in Fire Red. |
