right come on guys i need some help here, ive read the breeding bit but i dont understand to obtain a generation 1 pokemon do you have to breed two of the same pokemon eg do i need to catch a male and female of the same pokemon in order to brred or can i do it with eg two different pokemon with the same type eg fire types? and how do you get a healthy supply of honey or what is the easiest way of getting honey?

The only place to get honey is in the forest in back of Floaroma town. Some dude sell you it for (I think...) 200 pokedollars(?). The only way to breed pokemon is to get 1 male and 1 female of the same type or class as the other, or breed 1 of any gender/pokemon with a ditto (As long as it has a gender).

sorry to get this right if i wanted a electikid would i need to breed a male electrobuzz and a female electrobuzz or could i breed a male picichu and a female eectrobuzz and still get a electrokid?

No, you couldn't do this because Electabuzz is Humanshape and Pikachu is Fairy/Ground. You can breed Electabuzz with a Machoke or Kadabra, or anything else of the sort.
