Alright, well, it's not a full one. I've raised my team, and I'm currently training for the Elite Four. However, I only have five pokemon filling up my ranks, in my FireRed game, and I need one more, till I feel comfortable to face the Elite Four.

My team currently consists of, Blastoise, Flareon, Electabuzz, Nidoking and Exeggutor. Any suggestions would be wonderful.

Also, like I said, its my FireRed game, and I dont really have anyone to trade with, so please no either LeafGreen only suggestions, or suggestioning I get another starter. It wont happen lol.

I would say a couple different things.

1) an HP tank. Snorlax, Lapras, or Chansey work well here if you have them.

2) a different type. You have a bunch represented, but not a Rock/Flying (Aerodactyl) or a Fighting (Hitmon-) Obviously, others you can use as well. Steelix is resistant to a lot of Elite 4 attacks... But if it's your first time, you can't get that yet...

May I suggest a Psychic? Like a Hypno or Alakazam as well... Although with Exeggutor, this isn't entirely necessary.

You could also do a Flying Poke. Fly works well for avoiding an extra turn...

For an in-game team, being at a comparable level is the most important thing. AEP's suggestions are excellent, but when it comes down to it, you can just as easily choose pokemon you enjoy using to beat the Elite Four.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I agree, I really do need a flying type (currently have a Lvl. 5 Pidgey to do the job.... pathetic eh?) and I did not think of Aerodactyl, and I think thats perfect for me. Thanks a lot for the replies, and er, I guess thats all I needed? Sorry, new to the forums.
