*coughsomethingagainstsiterulestodiscusscough* Anyways. Regarding pokemon following you, when you enter a small area big pokemon return to their poke ball. Also headbutt is taught by a tutor in Ilex forest. Shiny pokemon also appear to look shiny following you.

Okay, this doesn't make any sense to me. How can I "hack the game" without getting an early dump of the game?

Despite how amazingly awesome the music is, I shall be waiting until the NTSC release to play this tempting beast of a game.

I find the music kind of annoying, to be honest. My game crashed before Violet city, (but I saved so :D) and so far, I only really liked the Rival battle music. Also, nofair I can't name him Silver ;_;

The Kanto music is spectacular.

EDIT: And if the music still isn't your cup of tea, apparently you can get a "GB Music Player" in the game that turns all the music into the GBC version.

All of those links are kinda faster than the normal pace of their music...it's almost discouraging.....but I laugh at the GBC music thing. :3

Mewtwo in Cerulean Cave
Moltres in Mt. Silver
Aritcuno in Seafoam Islands
Zapdos outside Power Plant
Viridian Forest is actually a forest this time
Steven from Emerald makes a cameo appearance(He's the one who gives you the Hoenn starters)

Looks like I have a new favorite Pokemon game.

On Serebii, they have new updates on HG/SS. The Gym Leaders and Elite Four have the same Pokemon and around the same level Pokemon as the original games. Also, Latios and Latias will be in the games, and the Elite Four's Pokemon are switched with different Pokemon after you fight Red. Their Pokemon are almost identical levels to the Elite Four's in DPP. And the Kanto badges are shown with your Johto badges as well.

On the days that your rival is in the Dragon's Den (after you beat him in Johto and Kanto), you get to team up with him and double battle Clair and Lance.

You need to trade a Groudon/Kyogre from HG/SS only, to get a Green Orb to be able to catch Rayquaza.

You'd think that after 10 years, probably 30 now, that they'd have got some work done... :/

Going by that logic, they'd have had the building done anyway, in the GBC versions. :/

Okay, now when you get and hatch the Mystery Egg after you beat Falkner, the Togepi that you hatch will know Extrasensory.

Oh and you get to be disguised as a Rocket when Team Rocket takes over Goldenrod City. (That's AWESOME!!! The sprite has the Rocket Uniform!)

When you beat Red, and you go to Silph.Co, you'll see Steven there and when you talk to him, he will offer you 1 of the 3 Hoenn starters: Mudkip, Treeko, or Torchic. And when you reach to Kanto, and you talk to Prof. Oak, he will offer 1 of the 3 Kanto starters: Squirtle, Bulbasaur, or Charmander. (Just a little update  )

Apparently, after Giovanni gets Team Rocket's message from the radio tower, he'll battle you. After you win, he says his three years were wasted. Then apparently Celebi sends you back in time three years.
EDIT: Nintendo will give away a special celebi. Take it Ilex Shrine, and you go back in time. You see Silver arguing with his dad(Giovanni, finally confirmed) and then emerge in a cave. You fight Giovanni, then return to the normal time.

Well. That music sure kicked me in the ----. I swear, I'll go to Mt. Silver every day for that Red battle music. Kanto gym leader is OK, and I loved the Kanto trainer battle.

The platinum form changes are possible. For Shaymin, you show the event shaymin to a girl in the flower shop. She gives you a gracidea. For Giratina, you have to get the griseous orb through the arceus event as the item is not tradeable. For Deoxys, there are three meteorites on route 2.

Also, can the rocket outfit be toggled on/off with an item and be worn anytime?

EDIT: Apparently, notched ear pichu is from the future. Also, you can change Rotom's form in Silph Co.

Well, it is settled then. No return of Underground, no matchmaking, no radio show that allows you to win items like on Crystal Version, and no duel-slot only pokemon. Well, at least we got a bunch of other stuff.

Uhh... what is matchmaking??

Buena and her show both return in HGSS.

Do you mean the dongle method, in which Pokemon appear by having a third-gen game in the DS's GBA slot? Many of the Pokemon made it to HGSS without the presence of that feature anyway.

I meant wi-fi matchmaking in which we are able to battle random people over the internet insitead of ONLY people we actualy know. also, there are no pokemon contests nor a poke radar. But at least we don't have too many goals to complete on our games now.

Is it known yet (or anyone care to speculate) if the Event Arceus is a one-time use or can it be traded to multiple versions to get the legendary trio with just one Arceus?

For example, two friends have HG/SS with one Event Arceus. It is used on HG to get Dialga. HG trades Arceus to SS so he can choose Palkia. Will it work or will we have to wait and see?
