Hi everyone,
I was wondering what's best:
Learn all of Growlithe's attacks up to lvl 48, learn his Flare Blitz and evolve him or is should I make him evolve earlier? I was wondering whether learning the Flare Blitz is worth it.
And btw: What's Arcanine's most effective moveset?

Flare Blitz is arguably its best attack.
Any moves that arcanine learns before level 48 can be gotten with a heart scale.
I personally prefer Howl/Thunderfang/FlareBlitz/Extremespeed, with a life orb. If you put on Crunch, it ends up being a bad Houndoom.
You'll want the HP to be a 9 in the ones place to take a minimum life orb damage.

When does Arcanine learn extremespeed, because if it's b4 level 48, then don't wait, bacause thats basicly it's best attack.

Arcanine pulls an awesome Togekiss with this Extremespeed.
my reference comes from the fact that Togekiss learns four awesome moves upon evolving and through the Move Tutor.
Arcanine learns Extremespeed the same way. That was Last time i checked though....

It really all depends on the way your protraying it. If you your going for high special attack ev's go with flare blitz, but if your going for a quick shot with more, stick with extreme speed

you can teach it flare blitz after you evolve it...you go to the move tutor..its very simple =) good luck
