It keeps the move last used by the foe forever. Any movesets can work, really. Best ones would probably be OHKO and mind reader.

Sketch is a permanent Mimic, aka, you use the move to copy the move used last by the enemy and keep it until you replace it. Good sets include:

{smeargle} @ Focus Sash
Spore
Agility
Seismic Toss
Endeavor

{smeargle} @ Leftovers
Spore
Belly Drum
Substitute
Baton Pass

Mind Reader/Lock-On + Sheer Cold/Horn Drill/Fissure is way too cheap, and is banned anyway.

I have a set of smeargles that has all the species specific moves like luster purge, mist ball , magma storm, etc

harry barlow is right but an also good move for healing is recover because it has more pp than sythesis

The best moves for a technican smeargle and multi hit move NOT multi-turn moves

How do you teach it the moves you want, I mean, Doesn't it fail when used in a battle with another player?
