Its not that hard to evolve it. I evolved my Chansey the first time it leveled up. To evolve golbat needs 220 or higher happiness. Things that raise happiness: - walking around with it - getting groomed by daisy in pallet town - levelling it up - using it in important battles (gym, elite) or refer to http://www.psypokes.com/rsefrlg/happiness.php |

as Crobat is not in the Kanto Dex, you must also have aquired the National Dex by owning at least 60 pokemon in your dex, and beating the elite 4. |

for example, i am playing FR and haven't beat the Elite 4 so i have a golbat in my Leafgreen version i have a linoone if i traded over my Linoone to Fr could i get a crobat? |

Not so easy. First, not quite sure how you got a Linoone in LG... Secondly, you need to make sure that trades work anyways. Between RSE and FRLG would be good (see Celio about the Ruby and Sapphire to get that going). But thirdly, you must beat the E4. You won't get a National Dex until you beat the E4 and own at least 60 Pokemon in the Kanto Dex (since Crobat is not in that one...). Once you have the National Dex, your Golbat needs the happiness factor, then if you have the National Dex it will evolve into Crobat... Hope this helps! AEPMT

I don't mind re-raising its happiness, but in my LG i already have the national dex so I traded one from my Ruby there. |
