Brock help

Post subject:  Brock help
It's been a while since I've played Pokemon and I'm just starting to get back into it. I'm currently in Pewter City about to face Brock. I forget how strong he is and I need to know if I should level up my Pokemon more before I challenge him. Keep in mind I am not asking for a team rate, just if I am on the right track to beating Brock.

{squirtle} Lv. 14
{pikachu} Lv. 10
{beedrill} Lv. 10
{mankey} Lv. 6
{pidgey} Lv. 12
{butterfree} Lv. 10

Thanks again. I believe I've caught all of the Pokemon available so far so I think this is the best team I can assemble at this point in time. 8-)

Squirtle is strong enough. You'll have no problem.

Squirtle is your best bet, but Mankey with his Low Kick is super effective as well. Butterfree also offers a good back up, though it won't be super effective against Brock's Pokemon.

You should be fine. If all else fails use Pidgey and perform lots of Sand-Attacks before switching.

You could just use your Squirtle and Water Gun him into oblivion.

ur squitle is already at lvl14 it won be a prob 4 u in beating brock now lyk sobohobo123 said just use water gun to ko them

Squirtle alone could beat Brock. I know you don't want a team rate, but I'll help anyways. You have extremely commonly used pokemon, that have low base stats, you might want to rethink your team.

That is because there isn't a lot of Pokemon he can choose from in the first place, given that he hasn't even gone past Brock, the first gym -_-
