The answer, the one magical answer nobody ever wants to hear......patience! Just be patient and it will arrive! Check your TV regularly, and make sure you have a lot of money.

Actually the rooftop sale is on a certain day which is randomly chosen for every game. Once you find the day, you can keep going back if you didnt have enough money the first time. You do have to beat the E4, becuase I used to check the tv all the time for fun and it never gave anything about a RT sale.

I've never seen any rooftop sales before, and I usually don't play much after completing the Elite Four (except for catching Legendaries and stuff like that), so chances are, you have to clear the Elite Four before you can get a Rooftop Sale.

Pretty much every event that you see on TV is only available after you beat the Elite Four. This includes Energy Guru, Lilycove, Latias/Latios (duh), etc etc.

I only had my rooftop sale once, my friend had it twice, all after the Elite Four. When you have beaten the Elite Four try to play more often and also check the TV often, the Energy Guru, Casino service day, outbreaks, and rooftop sale... will all come, what you could do after elite four is to go contests, train your pokemon, battle tower/frontier and soon it will come.

my story.... Once awhile ago i saw a show for the LC Department store roof top sale, but i didnt think anything of it because i wanted to train my pkmn, and after finding out what the roof top sale is, i've wanted to find it again...
I've been checking tv's every day and even goin to the roof of the lilycove store for the past few weeks and havnt had anything...
Do you need to beat the E4 on the day of the sale? or will it just happin?
i guess with nothing better to do i can try beating the E4 every day until i find somethin... but does anyone actualy know anything that could help me?

This should clear up any questions about the sale. Every time you defeat the Elite Four, you have a new, random chance of getting the sale. The chance is like 1/10 or something, so it's not too hard to get if you just keep sweeping the league.... So, after you defeat the elite four, check your TV at home when you start there. It should say, something along the lines of "Lilycove's Clearout sale will be caoming in just this many days: 2!" So keep battling the pokemon league if you really want that sale! Good Luck!

i wnder... where do u get your info from? oh well... i've beat the elite 4 so many times it isnt funny...
although i find that the tv usualy shows it after beating the elite 4, even beating the elite 4 a dozen times didnt do anything for me. although... 2 days ago i decided to go back to training an it sed on the tv that my sale is today! so... i got some shoppin to do now
Tomarrow however i think i will put your theory to the test... 20 rounds against the elite 4 should see if ur right in what u say...

What does the Rooftop Sale sell?

Although i think there might be something on the main site to tell u wut they have.... im in lilycove anyways so here goes!

Mud Ball - 200 - A large ball of mud. Crumbles if stepped on.
Fence Length - 500 - A small fence that blocks passage.
Fence Width - 500 - A small fence that blocks passage.
Tire - 800 - An old large tire. Decorations can be placed on top.
Breakable Door - 3000 - A weird door that people can walk right through.
Solid Board - 3000 - Place over a hole to cross to the other side.
Sand Ornament - 3000 - An ornament made of sand. Crumbles if touched. (looks like the pillars at the enterence of gyms)
Stand - 7000 - A large Pedestal with steps.
Slide - 8000 - Use to slide down from the platform.
TV - 3000 - A small, gray-colored toy TV.
Round TV - 4000 - A toy TV modeled in the image of a SEEDOT.
Cute TV - 4000 - A toy TV modeled in the image of a SKITTY.
Wailmer Doll - 10000 - A large doll. Place it on a mat or a desk.
Rhydon Doll - 10000 - A large doll. Place it on a mat or a desk.

I personaly bought 3 {rhydon dolls}, 2 {whailmer} Dolls, all 3 of the different TV's, 6 Sand Ornaments, 3 Breakable Doors, 1 Slide, and a bunch of Fence pieces incase i get bored an want to make a maze... then u not only need to find my secret base but you'll need to find me!!
and before i forget... i also got a spare tire.
Oh, and 2 of the Solid Boards(1 to cross holes, 1 for trade), and a Stand wich i think i might of wasted money on.... the stand just doesnt fit with my base right now...

Either way... this shopping spree has inspired me to move from my hole on Route 119. CHOW!!

metagross, blaziken, sceptile, should have no probs sweeping it by themselves plus 3 zigzags/linoones to pick up

but i only remember having a clearout sale maybe twice my whole time playing it..............going to test that whole e4 theory though
